I think it would be very difficult for the Nutcracker to rehabilitate Beetlejuice. The Nutcracker is a noble and heroic figure, but he does not have much experience or skill in dealing with ghosts or the supernatural. He is also a toy, which means he is physically smaller and weaker than Beetlejuice, who can change his shape and size at will. Beetlejuice would probably not take the Nutcracker seriously, and would likely mock, torment, or even destroy him. Beetlejuice is too cunning, powerful, and stubborn to be reformed by the Nutcracker, who is too naive, gentle, and out of place to confront him. The only way to stop Beetlejuice for good is to say his name three times, which is something that the Nutcracker might not know or be able to do.

It realistically wouldn't be too hard for the right character to reform Betelgeuse/Beetlejuice, but I'm not thinking the Nutcracker's up for the job.
