So this sort of raises the question: Who all is on Fortnite Island? If it's the regular inhabitants, then it's no one? If Cornholio is essentially thrown into a game of Fortnite, then he's definitely going to die. He's not exactly the brightest tool in the shed. If, however, he's just thrown on the island, but doesn't have to participate in a game, and instead only has to survive, he's got a pretty good chance if he just hides and/or avoids making himself a target

I think in the spirit of the game, we'd say the island is inhabited and a game is going on. Otherwise, it would just be an island and anyone would survive.
