To add to this, it's not that he can trick Deathstroke himself, but his personality is so out there that other members of the organization might be tricked into giving up key information before Deathstroke even realizes that there's been a security breach.

I don't buy it.

I feel like Deathstroke would just stopped feeding any info to anyone the moment he feels something is off. Kills or ditches anyone that could lead back to him.
