Oh yeah. It's tail time!

For real though, Spyro is more powerful from what I can tell, and Ghosts 'n Goblins favors raw power. His flight would also help.

I agree. I picture Spyro doing really well at this game.

I'm rooting for my guy Gex. This challenge is similar in style to the haunted/horror 2D levels in the first Gex game. Gex could dispatch enemies easy with his tail and his jumping is far better than Spyro's.

Spyro having limited flight and fire does give him advantage, but he doesn't have a sidescrolling game like Gex does and I would say the closer experience wins out.
