It's an interesting match.

Kurt has the teleportation, and one might assume that means it will be difficult for Winston to catch him.

However, Winston's electric shock weapon doesn't require targeting in Overwatch. It damages anything that gets near it.

Winston has the strength and endurance advantage.  Nightcrawler, an acrobat, clarly has the agility advantage.

It could go either way.

To add to that, we established earlier than when Nightcrawler is under duress, such as being shocked, he often can't teleport, so if he gets him with the cannon, he can probably roll that into a win. Plus, Nightcrawler very rarely BFRs, and never uses it to start a fight. Winston has experience with extremely fast people who can teleport around, and he scales to Doomfist, who took out both Tracer and Genji, a casual bullet-timer, at the same time.

Gotta go with Winston, he has much greater durability, weapons, and the environment favors him; it’s a tiny island that doesn’t offer a lot of places to move around or hide from the big guy.

Not a lot of movement for Nightcrawler in this terrain. Unless he's allowed to escape to win, I don't see how he wins.

I agree with the consensus. Winston's weapon and the environment really leads to a victory for the genius ape. If you have a fast/mobile opponent, I can't imagine a better foil than Winston's electric zapper gun.
