That is such an incredibly unfortunate draw for Pennywise in what would otherwise have been a very good match-up. Even if it's movie Loser's Club against Book Pennywise, his biggest problem is the number of opponents. He's an incredibly powerful Eldritch being, but Imhotep can take out the entire Loser's Club at once, while Pennywise really can't do that

Imhotep only ever controls the desert around his pyramid, so I don't see his powers being useful outside of Egypt.

 

Also, what an awful draw for Pennywise. I guess the argument to make is that It, being some horrific extra-planar thing, will likely just immediately kill the losers who beat It before.
