I'm not sure that either deity strictly represents warriors, specifically.

That said, I'm, going with Poseidon for a couple reasons.

For one, Poseidon is a major deity of civics, which warriors are typically around to protect.

The other being concern about calm seas, which warriors typically have to traverse to get places.

Then there is the deities connection to horses and the horse and chariot which warriors make use of.

If we take warriors at face value, Semar might not easily win here, as clowns and warfare have little connection to each other at face value.

If we look from another perspective however, Semar could still be a fairly decent patron of warriors in another sense.

One perspective that I see here, is as a morale booster, as many soldiers face war fatigue after long campaigns, and need a sense of escape, and a boost of morale, hence, at least partly why they often invite bands, entertainers, and other acts to keep their morale strong.

In that aspect, Semar, who is very much comical and very much humorous in some of his ways, might have a certain appeal to the long drained soldiers.

Another, is the rice aspect, as armies and soldiers need a lot of food typically, and Semar's work with his rice fields, and what he was able to do with them, seem to provide that pretty well, give or take.

And finally, while Semar is seen in a weaker light, compared to that of gods like Poseidon, he does have a type of appeal that Poseidon lacks, an appeal to the common man.

Semar doesn't have an angelic appearance which is pretty to look at, nor is all mighty, but he is average and typically, speaking frankly about the issues off the common man, and often compelling the more powerful to either act, or desist in their actions, in regards to the common man, something that is quite powerful in influence, even if he lacks the ttype of power Poseidon may possess.
