  1. The Spawnmobile seems like the stronger candidate here, as the Thundertank may be heavily armed, and capable of surviving its environment well, but in a conventional race, those things hurt it. Going by various websites, the Tank lacks in speed too, which will hurt it here, especially if it can not utilize its weaponry to gain an advantage. To win here, it would have to be pretty fast, and the Thundertank just doesn't seem to have that, compared to the Spawnmobile, which should be 7.65 seconds at 189 m.p.h, if it is comparable to its real life counterpart. *I'm going to order the comic at some point for extra clarity, but here is a trading card for reference.
  2. Both are eccentric, both live in realities that don't resemble our own to an extent, but I do give Rubberband Man the edge here. Granted Kermit is hard to beat, as the frog is an iconic muppet, and is one of the most recognizable Jim Henson characters out there, but I think he doesn't do as well in advertising Silent Hill. A Muppet movie in Silent Hill might be interesting, and I'm not sure how they would do that, but selling real estate there seems out of his wheelhouse, as the wackiness of Kermit isn't going to be enough in my opinion to convince people to overlook the dangers inherent in the location. The Rubberband Man doesn't work in real estate either, however, there is something to be said about a guy that gets people pumped to receive office supplies, and kids school supplies. I'm not going to say that he is shoo-in to convince people to buy real estate in a dangerous place like Silent Hill, but he does have a pretty decent chance of convincing people to be hyped up about things they ordinarily wouldn't be hyped up about, so that does paint a pretty good picture to me.
  3. Dracula can be done in may different ways from his old Romanian routes based on Vlad Tepes, to his classic Universal role, to the Hammer films, to the 2000's Dracula movies, but all have been done quite too much to be honest. Dracula is a horror staple, and has been the standard archetype for every work of vampire fiction out there. Jack on the other hand is newer, and while I think the cosplay shown above isn't great, if someone were truly dedicated enough, they could make a very unique costume based around him.
  4. A lot closer than I would've thought, this one came down to the wire.
  5. "I should regulate human affairs precisely because i lack all ambition, whereas human beings are prey to it. Their history of inane squabbles, each one coming closer to total destruction. I am a more advanced solution to the problem, a decision-making system that does not involve organic beings. I was directed to make the world safe and prosperous, and I will do that." -- Helios, "Yes, yes!" Helios does have some advantages over the Computer, if only in his capacity to not rely on organic beings as much to get his goals accomplished for him. He has access to much of the world's digital infrastructure by the end of the game, and he uses it to suit whichever agenda serves him best, regardless of ethics or values involved. In some ways he has Ultron tendencies, but those tendencies are diminished to an extent, as he was created to protect human life rather than simply the planet, and thus, Helios see himself more as a benevolent dictator than a God. For this scenario too, he would be an even better fit than the Computer, as he does not necessarily require the aid of organic beings in one particular location to serve his purposes, he occupies the entire Internet. Additionally, Helios, is more than willing to disregard human pettiness and distractions, if only to move things forward in any way he can. To this extent, he is a tyrant in how he operates and what he is willing to do with regard to his interactions with human beings in general, but in certain cases, his ability to jettison emotion and triviality can be quite helpful in creating a suit of armor for the world, as the very things that make human beings unique and beautiful, are also the very things that strip us of logic from time to time.
  6. A brutal finish for Raphael, an outcome that I did not even expect to happen in such a powerful way. Jamie fought well, as well as he could, but Raph was too much this time, and in the process, the Turtle walked all over him as a result. Very well written, and while Leonardo didn't say or acknowledge the severity of the assault, it is evident from your writing that he is disturbed by it to a least a somewhat significant extent. That right there however, is the perfect exemplification of their relationship however, as Leo can but doesn't often choose to go to the lengths that Raphael will in a fight, opting to avoid allowing his anger to get the better of him. Yet, I'm sure, there are times where Leo wishes he had the kind of raw energy and incentive necessary to end his battles in the same rushed pace as Raphael at times. He is calculative and collective, but those skills tend to keep fights dragging on for a bit longer, as opposed to Raphael's approach of landing heavy hits in rapid succession. All that being said, Raphael stands a pretty decent chance of winning here, if he can repeatedly find ways to keep Snider off-guard in their battle. Since Snider tends to perform above head and leaping moves such as kicks and drops, this should be relatively easy to do, but would require Raph to perhaps emulate more of Leo's maxims in order to make it happen. Rather, he will have to duck underneath or evade much of Snider's over-the-head moves by hitting the deck as low as he can, allowing his shell and plastron to take anything he can't avoid, and attacking only when Snider drops his guard before attacking again. In those moments, the ones before Snider launches his kicks and drops, Raph can take advantage of his momentary drop in protection, and try hitting him from the back, or evade his legs, and attempt to attack his chest while in the air. Either strategy, seems like it would yield great results against the enemy fighter in this scenario.
  7. He is a bit of a showman though... heh. Vacation and Christmas Vacation proved this point pretty decently enough.
  8. Helios could theoretically do this pretty easily, as he already has control of the Aquinas Protocal, and effectively the Internet, Military and Power Grid resources of the world at his disposal. He could utilize these elements to build the technical grid of the armor, while forcing the population to develop its infrastructure. With all of these resources at his disposal, he could potentially create a system strong enough to protect the planet from invasion, again, fairly easily. To keep people motivated to help, he can try diplomacy, as he portrays himself to be that of an intellectual and wise program, capable of reasoning. He could try to pose to them the specifics of the threat and the need for protection from opponents that lurk beyond the skies of the Earth, and that he alone would be best suited to provide that protection as the "Arbiter of information" in his particular world. Or he could motivate them via threats and promises, as he has been shown to be capable of shutting down government buildings power grids, reopening traffic, and even locking the Triads in their compound, all in an effort to showcase his power to the world. Actions that yield potentially titillating, possibilities regarding what he can do when he wants to be persuasive, B.F. Skinner would love this guy,
  9. Normally, I would see Zam losing this one outright against Splinter, but if she could do it just right she could potentially win. Utilizing her shapeshifting abilities, she could transform into someone Splinter knows, but would not expect to find in the mirror maze, potentially throwing him off from her. His sense of smell might thwart this however, but if it does not this is a very strong card for Zam to play. Meanwhile, if she is given access to the kouhuns she used, she could release them, and have them sneak up and attempt to defeat Splinter via their poison bites. Again, could fail, as Splinter seems like the type to have hypersensitivity to his environment, but even still, the kouhuns distraction will grant Zam enough time prevent herself from being cornered so easily. Should she be cornered, while she isn't nearly the martial artist Splinter is, Zam is a class three Mabari fighter, and depending on what that means, should last for at least a little while in hand to hand combat, probably not long enough to take Splinter out though.
  10. True, but his military experience, will also give him a perspective that most other candidates would not have. The Doughboy lacks this, while making up for it in terms of personality. So, in terms of popularity, yes, the Doughboy might win, but in terms of practical logic, it makes more sense for the populace to vote for Chief. The problem is, voter turn outs are almost impossible to predict, and even on Election Night, the anchors find each development to be startling.
  11. War heroes have a habit of becoming presidents, sometimes great ones. Of the 46 Presidents, 31 have had military service. A few are pretty renowned, including Washington, Jackson, Polk, Grant, Roosevelt, and Eisenhower. Not sure why they have this connection with the Presidency, but sometimes it works out that way. Chief could use this to his advantage, but like Grant and Eisenhower, he kind of of lacks a personality.
  12. Scrooge was only "joyful" at the end of the Carol, before that he was apt at spreading just as much fear as Jason and the others could, terrorizing both his family and his hometown repeatedly. By the end, he wasn't fully adapted to the idea of spreading joy to people, but he was better on a smaller scale at least. Jason likewise, is notable, outside of his movie lore, but within it, tends to not veer too far from Crystal Lake. Barring a few exceptions, his influence and fear tend to be limited to the people in the areas around where he lives, so on a global scale he'll struggle even more than Scrooge here.
  13. Well the Cadbury Bunny does have the ability to seduce people into doing what she wants, but in an evacuation that won't really help too much. She could be seducing or manipulating a small fraction of people to safety, while the rest are left to their own devices, until she gets to them. It is also possible that the Bunny's seduction may not be enough to keep the evacuees from panicking, either before or after her attempts to convince them to get them to follow her. Wendy might not be a better choice necessarily, but her father was certainly a giver to the vast needs of the poor and impoverished, and Wendy might likely be cut from the same cloth. Additionally, in popular culture, Wendy has been depicated as being snarky, but logical, qualities that tend to lend themselves to better preparedness in emergency situations.
  14. I'll just leave this here. Heh. Truthfully however, this contest could get pretty interesting. Xenomorphs in general are an interesting costume choice, but the first one is probably the most generic in terms of the variations that came after its debut.
  15. Geez, the Burger King reminds me of the killer from Thanksgiving now. Still if we're talking about the '80s King, he might have a better chance. Back then he was depicted like Ronald McDonald used to be, relatively harmless with some whimsy.
  16. Samri, might not be the type to be too affected by that tactic however. He is immortal, and baring the use of a trishul, isn't really fazed by anything that tends to be thrown at him. Guns and explosives may deter him temporarily, but I think that Samri would just as likely shrug those off to some extent and keep doing what he does, draining life force from people and killing them. Even decapitation didn't really stop him from killing people, as his curse killed Harimansing's family members, while he remained stuck in a box, hidden behind a wall.
  17. Wintergreen would struggle in Cthulhu's role, but Cthulhu would struggle perhaps a bit more, as his appearance and mannerisms would likely scare away all the other elves in Santa's workshop, ceasing production. Both are non-Humans, both are super powered beings that are larger than life, but neither one would be the perfect fit. Going out on a limb though, I guess Wintergreen would stand a slightly better chance than Cthulhu would in this case, if only because of his comparison to Wolverine. Now, while I can not say for sure if Wolverine would fair all that well with R'lyeh, from some perspectives, I believe he could put himself into that position if he had to. Likewise, if Wintergreen is as true as a parody can be to the real Wolverine, then maybe he would be able to manage the switch somehow better than Cthulhu would.
  18. The Amani aren't fast on foot per se, but they make up for that in their ability to ball themselves up and roll. By doing that, they can reach 50km per hour. Maybe they can use this technique to disorientate the Foot in their attempts, while the others proceed to grab the loot?
