  1. A good crossover of characters which has me a little stumped at the moment. I was initially sure I was going to vote for Lilandra with her telepathy, Shi'ar armor, hand to hand training and all of that. But then I thought about it some more and I didn't want to shortchange the MIB. They have encountered all sorts of alien technology and abilities, and Lilandra does have a habit of getting in trouble and being put in dangerous positions. Gladiator and the Imperial Guard tearing apart the MIB headquarters would be a sight to see. In the end, I think I am still going with Lilandra who is smart and capable enough to escape. If this were Agent K and his vast experience and ingenuity, it might be a different story
  2. A fantastic battle in the bayou, Boratz. Facilier is a formidable foe, but I have faith in Remy who has gone through some things during his time as an X-Men and even outside the team. Although, I don't recall him ever being morphed into an amphibian before. Great Job.
  3. Not overly familiar with Jacen but I will go with the apparent consensus.
  4. THE XAVIER INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT PART 10 TEAMS AND SET-UP The Alpha Flight team journeyed to a forested area just outside the school grounds of the Xavier Institute to regroup following Vindicator’s loss to Magik. VINDICATOR: I apologize that I wasn’t able to defeat her, James. Maybe someone else from Alpha Flight should have taken Shaman’s place. GUARDIAN: Don’t worry about it. Illyana Rasputin is very strong. I doubt any other member of Alpha Flight would have fared better. You just came up a little short. VINDICATOR: Snowbird is a literal goddess. She could have probably done well against the ruler of Limbo. SNOWBIRD: I was not chosen for that fight. I also agree with Guardian that there is no point of fretting on what has already transpired. As long as we do our best, we can hold our heads up high. SASQUATCH: No offense, but now that we are here and competing, I want to do a little better than just our best. I want to win. GUARDIAN: We still can. The heroes are so strong in this tournament that I would almost guarantee no team is going to finish 5-0. NORTHSTAR: Agreed. And does that mean you are warming up to this competition, Guardian? Guardian smiled. GUARDIAN: Maybe a little bit. SASQUATCH: Jean-Paul, you were a teacher at this school for a time. Is there any insight you can provide on some of the younger mutants that we may not be familiar with. NORTHSTAR: Many of the young mutants I often interacted with are still students here and not participating in the tournament. I don’t know how much insight I can offer. Many of those students were currently gathered around large screens taking in the action of each tournament fight. This included the likes of Anole, Armor, Dust, Hellion, Mercury, Pixie, Rockslide, Surge, and Wind Dancer. Hellion, Julian Keller, and Wind Dancer, Sofia Mantega, sat together at a table nearby Pixie, Megan Gwynne. They cheered when their favorites won and Hellion booed loudly when Emma Frost was defeated by Rachel Summers. Currently, the students were in shock as the next match was announced pitting their classmate, X-23, against Hollow. They watched in disbelief as the fight commenced. HELLION: Laura really got into the tournament, how did that happen? WIND DANCER: Jealous? HELLION: Absolutely. What makes her so special? I bet it’s the connection to Logan. WIND DANCER: Wolverine isn’t even on either of the teams. PIXIE: What I believe it shows is that one of us may have a shot to get in as an alternate. That’s exciting. HELLION: I don’t want to get in as an alternate. I think our class should have our own team. Rockslide, Dust, Mercury, and I are ready to go right now. You could join us now that you have your powers again. WIND DANCER: I wasn’t even a member of the New Hellions, remember? HELLION: Details. It isn’t even about Hellion or New Mutant. It’s about representing our class against all the other classes in X-Men history. Showing these old folks what we can really do. WIND DANCER: That would be something. Karma entered the common area where the students were watching the tournament matches with someone the students didn’t recognize. KARMA: Pixie, I am in need of your assistance. The spritely mutant perked up. PIXIE: I am ready to go. KARMA: Alpha Flight traveled a little farther away than anticipated. I need you to teleport them to the Danger Room so they will be ready for the next match in the tournament. It is their turn. PIXIE: Oh, ok. Pixie teleported away in search of the Canadian Superhero team. Karma addressed the man that walked in with her. KARMA: Mr. Wright you can take a seat anywhere you like. You should have a good view from here. MICROMAX: Thanks. Karma took her leave of the students and walked toward the Danger Room. Scott Wright, Micromax, sat in the seat vacated by Pixie near Hellion and Wind Dancer. HELLION: Who are you? MICROMAX: The name is Scott Wright, codename Micromax, and I am just happy that I made it in time to watch this fight. WIND DANCER: Laura versus Hollow? MICROMAX: No, the one after. As a government agent sworn to protect my homeland and as a proud British native and former member of Excalibur, it is the fight that I have been looking forward to the most. There are just so many interesting parallels. WIND DANCER: The last two remaining teams in this round are Alpha Flight and Excalibur, are you suggesting the fight is…. Inside the Danger Room, Alpha Flight was teleported in by Pixie where they joined the Excalibur team of Captain Britain, Meggan, Rachel Summers, Kylun, and Cerise as well as Karma. KARMA: Welcome to the second round, Alpha Flight. As you can see, the team opposing you this time around is Excalibur. NORTHSTAR: Wait, are we about to do what I think we are about to do? KARMA: Guardian and Captain Britain, the leaders of your teams, the chosen heroes of your respective countries, adorned in the iconography of your nation’s flags, you have both been selected as your teams’ representatives for this round. MEGGAN: This is so cool. VINDICATOR: I have to agree. It’s a good call. CERISE: This would be akin to something like your world’s Olympics, right? RACHEL SUMMERS: Something like that. KARMA: Guardian, the science of the Vindicator suit and the skill of the woman wearing it wasn’t enough to overcome the chaotic magic of Illyana Rasputin, it is now time to see if your skills and your suit are enough to outlast the old magic entrusted in one, Brian Braddock. GUARDIAN: There is only one way to find out. CAPTAIN BRITAIN: I am happy that you are my opponent. The two heroes shook hands and then entered the Danger Room which transformed into an old army base.
  5. THE XAVIER INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT PART 9 TEAMS AND SET-UP In a spirited skirmish on the astral plane between Rachel Summers and Emma Frost, Rachel proved true to her word that she had learned much since her previous clash with the former White Queen. Both women conjured weapons on the astral plane and attempted to bind the other. Eventually, Rachel overpowered Emma with her impressive power and struck her down with a fiery sword. Emma let out a groan of pain and then fell to her knees. Rachel opened her eyes and gasped. RACHEL SUMMERS: I did it. I won. EMMA FROST: Damn it all! An astral projection of Charles Xavier appeared above the high powered telepaths. XAVIER: The winner is Rachel Summers. That is one point for the Excalibur team. Meggan flew over to Rachel and embraced her from behind. MEGGAN: Congratulations! You are amazing. RACHEL SUMMERS: Thanks. KYLUN: Our heavy hitter came through for us, it is now our responsibility to not let her valiant efforts go in vain. CERISE: Agreed. Rachel rejoined her teammates and they left the courtyard together. Emma Frost stood up and dusted herself off. She looked back and forth a few times and a small smirk appeared on her face. She carried herself with her familiar swagger as she waltzed over to her former students. MONET: Are you okay? EMMA FROST: A minor hiccup, but we move forward, and ultimately to victory. Monet, Chamber, Hollow, and Husk followed Emma as they also left the courtyard. Chamber and Emma began a telepathic conversation. CHAMBER: Where are we going? EMMA FROST: To have a peak at Xavier’s database. CHAMBER: What for? EMMA FROST: I know who will be the next one of us to fight. It will be Hollow, I also know who she is fighting. I picked it up by reading a person’s mind. CHAMBER: Isn’t that cheating? EMMA FROST: It’s strategizing, we are all playing to win, aren’t we? Xavier’s database has all sorts of information on his X-Men, strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, it is a useful tool for the ones I am less familiar with. CHAMBER: Who is going to be Hollow’s opponent? Elsewhere, Forge’s Team was approached by Sage in the medic bay as Shaman was tending to Forge’s injuries suffered from his battle against Cable. FORGE: Hey, coming to see if I am ok, Sage? Not to worry, Nathan packs quite the punch but Shaman is working his magic and I’ll be fine. SAGE: I actually came to talk to Longshot. LONGSHOT: What’s going on. SAGE: May I speak with you in private. LONGSHOT: Of course. Longshot walked away with Sage leaving Forge and Shaman alone with Kitty Pryde, Dazzler, and Bishop. DAZZLER: I wonder what that’s about. KITTY PRYDE: Very curious. Bishop checked through his equipment. BISHOP: Whatever it is, we can’t let it distract us. We need to put a win up on the board whoever is up next. KITTY PRYDE: It’s funny, I spent so much time wondering about our grouping together that I haven’t even started to think about who I might be paired up against. DAZZLER: Is there anyone you would prefer? KITTY PRYDE: I don’t know, maybe Logan, or Kurt, or Ororo. They may have put me against Piotr, but now that option is gone. How about you? DAZZLER: A fight with Jubilee would be fun. Tabitha would have been a blast too, but I didn’t see her in any of the teams. BISHOP: Doesn’t matter to me. KITTY PRYDE: Truly? There isn’t anyone you are hoping for? BISHOP: Nope. The most obvious options to me would have been Cable, Forge, or Gambit. None of those can happen now so I’m not too fussed about it. Back with Generation-X, Emma Frost spent the entirety of the time between her team’s matches talking to Hollow about her upcoming match against Longshot and how to counter his ability to affect probability. Her teaching session was interrupted by the arrival of Synch. EMMA FROST: Here to root for your former classmates. SYNCH: I’m always going to support Gen-X, but that’s not why I’m here. The time is now, I’m here to escort you and the team to your next match. EMMA FROST: Lead the way. Synch and the Generation X team walked to the Danger Room. A knowing smile appeared on Emma’s face as she gazed upon the team across from them. Longshot was there, along with Kitty Pryde, Bishop, Dazzler, Forge, and Sage. SAGE: Welcome to round two. In this round, representing Generation-X, will be Hollow. Monet and Husk cheered on Hollow. SAGE: And facing her will….. Not be Longshot. EMMA FROST: What? SAGE: Come now Emma, with all of the telepaths here did you really think your snooping would go unnoticed. EMMA FROST: I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. I don’t recall Xavier or Magneto specifying that it would be against the rules. SAGE: It is admittedly more of a spirit of the competition versus written rule sort of thing. And in the spirit, it was decided that the best course of action would be to throw you a curveball. A replacement has been selected. EMMA FROST: No matter, I have confidence in Hollow against anyone here. Who is it then? Kate? SAGE: No, all the other members of this team already have commitments to other matches. The alternate was picked from outside the current teams. EMMA FROST: Wait, Longshot, you just willingly gave up your spot entirely? Why? LONGSHOT: It’s a little complex but Sage made a great offer. SAGE: A promise of a dance with a certain white skinned, black eyed, femme fatale of fortune who is here but not currently competing. I will figure out a way to incorporate it, that’s my job. The real challenge was who would take his place Longshot’s left eye sparked with a yellow glow. LONGSHOT: As luck would have it, Synch came looking for Sage during our conversation with a plea to get a close friend of his somehow in the tournament. A mutant who was itching to get into the action. SAGE: A perfect opponent for Hollow, the somewhat savage mutant with diamond skin, long, razor sharp claws and animalistic agility. SYNCH: Your opponent is Laura. A nearby door swooshed open and in stepped Laura Kinney, X-23. She smirked and immediately hugged Synch. EMMA FROST: Hold on now, these teams were selected because of the ties each member had. What ties does Laura have with this team? SAGE: Emma, do you not remember, Laura’s first roommate was Shadowcat. She has been a member of the X-Terminators with Dazzler. EMMA FROST: Playing a little loose and easy with the established guidelines, aren’t we, Sage? SAGE: Says the woman content with trying to bend the rules in her favor. EMMA FROST: No matter. My faith in my students remains unchanged. X-23 and Hollow stared at each other intensely but with no malice behind their eyes. FORGE: I feel like I should call on Shaman just in case things get too ardent in there. The young women stepped in the Danger Room which transformed into the Savage Land.
  6. Unless Shatterstar's powers have drastically changed, I believe you have him confused with Longshot.
  7. THE XAVIER INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT PART 8 TEAMS AND SET-UP The respective teams of Forge and Cable watched on intently as the two men shot at each other with pulse rifles. Forge’s Uncanny team of Bishop, Longshot, Dazzler, and Kitty Pryde stood on one side while Cable’s X-Force team of Shatterstar, Warpath, Rictor, and Feral stood on the other. The X-Force team was also joined by longtime member and partner to Cable, Domino. Forge reached for a concussion grenade that Cable knocked away with his telekinesis. As the battle continued, Shatterstar left his team and walked up to Longshot. SHATTERSTAR: I was certain when our teams were paired up that we would have been the representatives, brother. LONGSHOT: Yeah, two warriors who fought for years to survive in the Mojoverse. I can’t think of a better connection I would have with anyone here. Longshot’s eyes looked over to Domino. LONGSHOT: On the other hand. Dazzler followed her teammate’s eyes and elbowed him in the side and teased him. DAZZLER: Now you’re making me want to fight her. Their attention immediately turned back to the fight between Cable and Forge as the sound of Forge’s yells echoed through the Danger Room. The veteran X-Man fell at Cable’s feet, unable to keep up with Cable’s power despite his ingenious weaponry. Cable smirked. COMPUTER VOICE: The winner is Cable. One point for the X-Force team. CABLE: A great skirmish Forge, it was an honor. Forge gasped hard as he struggled to lift himself up. FORGE: Well, there is a reason you were the leader while I was on X-Force. Cable helped his friend up and then adressed his team. CABLE: Alright team let’s move out, we’re done here. There are plenty of potential opponents to scout for the next round. Cable left the Danger Room followed by Domino, Feral, and Warpath. Shatterstar stayed a few moments with his parents, who remained blissfully unaware of their destiny as his parents, until Rictor placed his hand on his back shoulder. RICTOR: You heard Cable, we need to go.’ Shatterstar acknowledged Rictor and followed his friend to the exit. DAZZLER: Good luck in the fights ahead. Shatterstar twisted his neck back to see her and nodded appreciatively. After his defeat of fellow heavy hitter Strong Guy, Colossus joined back with his teammates Nightcrawler, Storm, Banshee, and Sunfire. COLOSSUS: Not a bad start at all, no? STORM: Not bad at all, hopefully we can keep up the momentum you have given us. The team spent the remainder of the first round trying to think of a time since their original recruitment into the X-Men, that the five of them had been together like this and were unable to come up with a single instance. As the second round started, the conversation naturally turned to what team they might be paired off against next. SUNFIRE: It looks like I won't be fighting next. STORM: What makes you say that? SUNFIRE: Looking at everyone who is here, it seems obvious I will be paired with Roberto, which suits me just fine. We can settle a long standing argument. But we won’t be able to do that this round because the New Mutants are already lined up to face X-Men Blue. STORM: While I think you and Beto would be a fine matchup, I don’t think it is the only possibility for you. BANSHEE: I too wonder who’s in store for me. My first two guesses have already had their matches so I’m back to square one. COLOSSUS: Who were you thinking, comrade? BANSHEE: First I thought of Warren Worthington due to our proclivity for the skies and then maybe Emma Frost because of our connection teaching Generation-X. Those possibilities are gone now. Perhaps I have been paired against someone in Excalibur, a nod to Irish-British tension. NIGHTCRAWLER: Personally, I would love to be our representative should we face off against my former team. I have so much history with Excalibur, I was a founding member. I’m sure Brian would not be opposed to the idea of getting his hands on me to get out some unresolved tension. SUNFIRE: Who would have unresolved tension with you? NIGHTCRAWLER: There were just some misconstrued events, involving his current wife, Meggan, and I… Storm lifted a knowing eyebrow. STORM: Misconstrued, hmmm. NIGHTCRAWLER: Ororo, please, there is no need to litigate the past. There are other possibilities if I was the one to go against Excalibur. I could be paired against my former flame, Cerise. Kurt thought about the very real possibility of fighting his powerhouse Shi'ar ex-girlfriend and the possibility she could take out any lingering frustration over their end of their relationship when she was forced into service by the Shi’ar, out on him. He flinched. NIGHTCRAWLER: On second thought I don’t think I want to fight against my former teammates. STORM: Speaking of teammates, I wouldn’t mind seeing you and Logan go another round. NIGHTCRAWLER: Easy for you to say, Liebchen, you wouldn’t be the one having to avoid his claws. BANSHEE: I think a fight with you and Hank would be fun. A battle of the blue. NIGHTCRAWLER: Now you’re on to something, mein friend. ?: I can answer the question of your opponent, Kurt. It is no one that you have mentioned. Cecilia Reyes approached the International X-Men team. Kurt teleported next to her and kissed her hand. NIGHTCRAWLER: Dr. Reyes, a pleasure as always, fraulein. CECILIA REYES: If you think flattery is going to get you some advantage, you're barking up the wrong tree. NIGHTCRAWLER: Wouldn’t dream of it. CECILIA REYES: I’m here in a professional capacity. Cecilia regarded Kurt’s swords. CECILIA REYES: When swords are involved, deep cuts are always a consideration. Kurt perked up. NIGHTCRAWLER: A sword fight? CECILIA REYES: You will see soon enough. If you wouldn’t mind teleporting us there to get us there quickly. NIGHTCRAWLER: Certainly. Nightcrawler teleported Cecilia, himself, Storm, Banshee, Colossus, and Sunfire back to the Danger Room where they were awaited by X-Force. The realization hit Nightcrawler almost instantly. NIGHTCRAWLER: A sword fight against Shatterstar? What a great challenge. SHATTERSTAR: I’m also looking forward to this battle. I respect you, Nightcrawler and all that you have done, but you should know that you are outclassed here. Swordplay isn’t a hobby for me. I had to master swordplay to survive the colosseums of Mojoworld as a gladiator and Dr. Reyes isn’t here for me. I have a healing factor and the ability to rearrange my own organs. CECILIA REYES: I am here for whomever needs my assistance. NIGHTCRAWLER: I appreciate your concern, mein friend. But you should know swashbuckling isn’t a hobby for me either. Underestimate the fuzzy elf at your own peril. I have been fighting with swords for decades, I even got to the semifinal of an intergalactic sword fighting tournament against Gamora of the Guardians. CABLE: Nightcrawler, always with the name drops. RICTOR: I can’t be convinced Shatterstar isn’t the superior swordsman. Feral glared at Nightcrawler. FERAL: Shatterstar can also create his own portals, teleporter! CECILIA REYES: The time for talking is over. Nightcrawler, Shatterstar, please step into the Danger Room. Both men obliged and the Danger Room transformed into a greco roman colosseum. SHATTERSTAR: Hmm, Mojo would approve. NIGHTCRAWLER: Prepare yourself!
  8. Didn't get to this time. Would have gone with Stella who has more experience fighting in their current battle "outfits". Looks like it wouldn't have mattered, good pull for your battle royale, Venom.
  9. Good recap, Rakai. I'd assume Donatello had been focusing on this matchup thus far and would be preparing for a projectile like the Sonic Boom or Hadoken so he should be ready for the Kikoken which in my opinion is the worst of the three. I see it as going back and forth with a lot of quick movements, Chun-Li tagging Donatello with her lightning kicks and him being impressed with the physics defying spinning bird kick. In the end though I believe Donatello would emerge victorious after a hard-fought battle.
  10. I'm going with Carnage as well although I think Doom puts up a better fight then people give him credit for. Outstanding setup, broadway.
  11. THE XAVIER INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT PART 7 TEAMS AND SET-UP In the battle pitting representatives from the New Mutants team and Alpha Flight, Magik and Vindicator crossed swords. Magik’s Soulsword and the Scell smashed against one another. Illyana laughed. MAGIK: Let me know whenever you want to get serious. VINDICATOR: I am ready when you are. Magik quickly teleported behind Vindicator and took a swing, Using the inherent magical abilities within her own blade, Vindicator teleported away from the swipe. VINDICATOR: Weren’t expecting that were you? Magik laughed again. MAGIK: You don’t think I, the ruler of Limbo, know about that sword, made from Promethium, a magical metal only found in Limbo? I know all about it and the women that carried it, Isabel St. Ives, Jane Thorne, and Amelia Weatherly. But you don’t strike me as a spirit of retribution. Vindicator lunged at Magik. VINDICATOR: A person should always use the tools available to them. Magik again evaded the attack and jumped on stepping discs that she had created. MAGIK: Even if that tool is sapping away your life force? VINDICATOR: When you put it like that.. Vindicator briefly appeared to be struck by these words and looked warily at her sword before quickly revealing her ruse and striking Illyana with a barrage of electromagnetic pulses. After the first few knocked Magik off her feet, the young mutant defended herself with a psionic shield. MAGIK: That was on me. I’m much less versed in Canadian super suits than mystical swords. VINDICATOR: Let me give you a closer look. Heather jumped toward Magik and punched at her psionic shield. Magik cast a binding spell that manifested itself in an orange aura surrounding Vindicator. Using her suit, Vindicator created a force field to protect herself and broke the binding. VINDICATOR: Look at that, science can trump magic. Vindicator knocked Magik to the ground with some quick martial arts moves and another electromagnetic pulse attack. Magik teleported away and appeared above Vindicator on a stepping disc. MAGIK: Ok. We’re done here. Heather flew toward Illyana. Magik conjured a massive hydra composed of eldritch energy that crashed into Vindicator and took out the Alpha Flight superhero. Magik stood victoriously over the knocked out Vindicator. CANNONBALL: Is that what you call not taking it too far? MAGIK: She’ll be fine. If anything, she should feel proud. It was clear that normal magic wasn’t going to take her down. COMPUTER VOICE: The winner is Magik. That is one point for the New Mutants. The Danger Room opened up and Magik rejoined her teammates to wait for the next round. Shaman of Alpha Flight tended to his fallen teammate. SHAMAN: I will have you feeling better soon, Heather. I won't lie, I don’t envy that you collided with that demonic apparition instead of me. Elsewhere, the X-Men Blue team of Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Psylocke, and Jubilee celebrated Gambit’s recent win over Archangel and reminisced about old times. As the second round started the conversation shifted to the near future. WOLVERINE: I really want to know who I’m going up against. If it isn’t Scott, Jean, or Hank…it’s got to be Kurt. Our history, our bond, our contrasting philosophies…. Wolverine unsheathed his claws. WOLVERINE: Heh, it’s going to be a bad day for the elf. Oh wait, what’s if it’s ‘Ro? ROGUE: Come now Suga, I think it would be much cooler if me and Storm went a few rounds. JUBILEE: I figure the professor would pair you up with one of the other powerhouses. ROGUE: Yeah, you’re probably right. That Cerise girl on the Excalibur team seems pretty fit. She is Shi’ar and Kurt used to talk bout how strong she was all the time. GAMBIT: She doesn’t hold a candle to you, cher. JUBILEE: Monet St. Croix is really strong, really durable, and can fly super fast. That would be the most obvious pick I would think. ROGUE: Wouldn’t you be disappointed if you weren’t our rep when we face Generation X, Suga? JUBILEE: Wow, um, I hadn’t thought about it, really. I guess it would be cool to go up against one of my old classmates. Just as long as it isn’t Monet, I want no part of that. Now that I think about it, a battle against my X-Treme X-Terminator teammate, Dazzler, would be pretty fun. Ali and I would put on a show for sure. PSYLOCKE: It would be one of the most colorful skirmishes for sure. As for me…. I saw that the second round is starting with the First Class versus X-Factor. I would think that would mean Alex versus Scott. If that’s the case then I am destined to face off against my brother, Brian? JUBILEE: I don’t think you can assume that. Colossus and Magik already had their matches in the first round and they weren’t against each other. GAMBIT: Gambit is just thankful he doesn't have to play this wondering game anymore… at least for now. ?: More answers will be revealed if you follow me. The fivesome was joined by former New Mutants leader and current librarian and French teacher, Xuan Cao Manh, Karma. GAMBIT: Quite far from the library, cher. KARMA: Its a ghost town currently as is my classroom. All the students are watching the matches. Which works out well for me since the professor asked for my help. WOLVERINE: Sounds like my kinda learnin’. Gambit smiled at Karma. GAMBIT: Ouvrir la voie. KARMA: If I’m ever out sick maybe you can sub for me. GAMBIT: The kind of phrases Gambit learned in the French Quarter shouldn’t be taught to no children. The X-Men Blue Team returned to the Danger Room where they were joined by Karma’s former team. Cannonball stood across Wolverine, Sunspot stood across Jubilee, Danielle Moonstar stood across Psylocke, Magma stood across Rogue, and Magik stood across Gambit. GAMBIT: Congrats on your winning hand earlier. MAGIK: You too, Remy. JUBILEE: Wait, am I facing Roberto? PSYLOCKE: I think not. It’s plainly obvious what the pairing here is. KARMA: It should be. Betsy Braddock, Danielle Moonstar, the telepathic ninja who fights with psionic blades, and the telepathic warrior who fights with psionic arrows, bolts, and bullets. DANI MOONSTAR: And an occasional illusion here and there. KARMA: You more than earned the codename, Mirage. PSYLOCKE: It will take more than a mirage to throw me off my game. DANI MOONSTAR: Is that a challenge? PSYLOCKE: I’ve been kidnapped, brainwashed, gutted by Sabretooth, what are a few scary images going to do? DANI MOONSTAR: They would probably be wasted on a telepath of your ability anyway. Let’s stick to physical fighting and psychic weaponry. PSYLOCKE: Works for me. The two highly skilled mutants stepped into the Danger Room which immediately transformed into a dense forest.
  12. Good setup as usual, Boratz. I'm amazed as popular as these characters were to use on here that they haven't been paired up before. I think I'm going with Starkiller.
  13. Fun match, hadn't heard of Hippo. Looking him up I think I will go with him.
  14. LOL. Poland's only hope would be if their karate master Prime Minister caught Jean off guard.
  15. I didn't know either until I had already picked the match and was looking through images. Figured I might as well incorporate into the story since it wasn't really a fight but still a good display of their powers.
