  1. You may want to check out the Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur animated series. If you can get past the fact that it caters to a younger crowd, it's pretty good. As for the matchup, IIRC, Battlecat's strength may scale to He-Man and crew. Combine that with his smarts (though Devil's no slouch in that department, either, for a dino), and he should probably take this.
  2. Yep, result's more or less what I expected. As promised, here's the scenario Bing's A.I. came up with for this. It's kinda wild. In a twisted holiday showdown, Santa from “Santa’s Slay” faces off against the beloved Santa Claus in his cozy North Pole workshop. Let’s set the stage: 🎅🔪 Santa from “Santa’s Slay”: Background: In the darkly comedic horror film “Santa’s Slay,” Santa is revealed to be a malevolent force. He’s actually the son of Satan, cursed to deliver gifts for a thousand years as part of a bet. Abilities: Superhuman Strength: Santa can lift heavy objects with ease. Speed: He moves swiftly, catching victims off guard. Weapon Mastery: His preferred tools are unconventional: candy canes turned deadly, turkey legs as clubs, and more. Murderous Intent: Santa’s mission is to spread chaos and terror. Workshop Invasion Plan: Santa bursts into Santa Claus’s workshop, cackling maniacally, ready to turn the North Pole into a blood-soaked winter wonderland. 🎅🎁 Santa Claus: Background: The iconic Santa Claus, known for his jolly demeanor and gift-giving, has been doing this gig for centuries. Abilities: Magic: Santa wields ancient Yuletide magic. Time Manipulation: He can deliver presents to every child in a single night. Immortality: Santa doesn’t age and is practically indestructible. Naughty/Nice List: He knows who’s been bad or good. Workshop Defense Strategy: Santa activates the toy-making assembly line, transforming it into a festive death trap. Nutcrackers come alive, teddy bears sprout claws, and the gingerbread men sharpen their icing swords. 🔔🔥 The Battle: Round 1: Santa from “Santa’s Slay” charges, swinging a flaming candy cane. Santa Claus ducks, evading the attack, and counters with a magical snow globe that freezes his opponent. Outcome: Santa from “Santa’s Slay” shatters but quickly reforms. Round 2: Santa Claus summons reindeer, who transform into battle-ready steeds. Santa from “Santa’s Slay” retaliates, hurling exploding presents. Outcome: The workshop is a chaotic mix of flying reindeer, fireworks, and shattered toy soldiers. Final Round: Santa Claus channels the spirit of giving, offering forgiveness. Santa from “Santa’s Slay” hesitates, torn between his demonic nature and the holiday spirit. Outcome: In a surprising twist, Santa from “Santa’s Slay” sheds a single tear, realizing the true meaning of Christmas. He forfeits the fight, leaving the workshop unscathed. And so, the North Pole remains merry, with Santa Claus resuming his gift-giving duties. As for Santa from “Santa’s Slay,” he’s off to therapy—turns out, even evil Santas need a little counseling during the holidays. 🎄🔮 Ho, ho, ho! 🎅🌟
  3. Another good Megastory chapter, leroy. From what I've seen when looking back at the few matches of Max Guevara that still exist here, most members that commented had never even heard of Dark Angel, which kind of surprised me. But wait, Kim Possible was genetically altered? I don't remember hearing that from her show. Anyways, as for the match, Kim is gonna have her hands full here. Max has superhuman strength and the agility of a cat (as well as a cat's sex drive, lol; Max was literally in heat on a couple of occasions on Dark Angel 😅) as well as extended training in martial arts, espionage, etc. Kim may be hard-pressed just to beat her in a fight; combine that with Max's other training, and I'd say Max has a good chance at escape.
  4. Decent set-up, Venom, but still kind of short. As for the match, yeah, you might have to throw a cosmic-level threat or stronger or some chaos magic user into the mix to defeat Amazo, who's really the powerhouse for the DCAU's Justice League. Not sure any of the Pokemon are up to the task here.
  5. Good set-up as usual, Johnny. You've now managed to find an interesting valet vs. valet matchup. Intentional or not, it's also something of a callback to the Batman/Green Hornet crossover from the '60's: Eh, I'm personally a little wary of comics' canonicity to the DCAU, as most that are inspired by the DCAU tend to clash with the cartoons' continuity. Not sure about the Amazon thing being true in Mercy's case. If Mercy's her human self from the DCAU shows, then she probably puts up a good fight before Kato takes her down.
  6. Great set-up as usual, Rakai. The Turtles are really getting tested against this set of KoF fighters. Raphael even had to resort to stabbing Duke to gain the edge. As for the match, ... I dunno about this one. I watched the Fatal Fury anime films back in the '90's, so I think I have a sense of what Geese can do. Alongside his power, Geese seems to specialize in parrying and countering other fighters' best attacks to a point. Leonardo's gonna really have to dig deep in his ninjutsu bag of tricks on this one, and maybe even draw power from Haohmaru's katana (dunno if the weapons themselves from Samurai Shodown have power on their own?).
  7. In that case, I'd say the Jolly one rightfully won this. In the original Little Shop of Horrors play (as well as in the alternate ending for the movie), once Audrey 2 bred all around the world, not even Earth's militaries could stop them.
  8. Good set-up and chapter for your Megastory, leroy. Yeah, Galvatron's being trusted to be part of this alliance, but we all know he's gonna betray the other villains and try to take over like the '80's villain he started out as. As for the match, yeah, I think Gamora can take Drako out pretty quickly. Along with her quickness and skill, she can also apparently lift up to 90 tons.
  9. I finally tried out Microsoft Edge's A.I. last night, and this matchup was one of the inquiries I made for it. The scenario it came up with was kind of hilarious, so I may post it as a recap once voting's done.
  10. Some of us may have been anticipating this to happen in the Draft, so here we go:
  11. Man, I don't think Ibuki's lost a CP-generated matchup (Match or Rumble) in over a decade. 😅 Let's see how this one goes.
  12. Good set-up, Johnny. I have a feeling that this tourney may get away from Harley and Ivy sooner or later. As for the match, is this Audrey 2 from the movie or the original play? If it's play-Audrey, then this will probably be a stalemate initially until Audrey multiplies and grows enough to overwhelm the Giant (though that whole process could take a good while). If it's movie-Audrey, then the Jolly One should be able to squash Audrey before the latter can feed enough to grow.
  13. Pretty good set-up, Venom, but again, kinda short. Amazo's not gonna stay down for long, and his vast array of powers should do the job against Power Girl. Aside from him, though, I think the only ones that have a shot are Dr. Fate and a Kryptonite-morphed Metamorpho.
  14. Battle of the Street Fighter kunoichis! Since Maki grew up with Guy, I'd say she's a few years older than both Ibuki and Kimberly. Unless Capcom's determined to retcon Ibuki back into being a high schooler again, she and Kimberly should be about the same age, likely in their late teens/early 20's. BTW, I have a feeling Maki would probably be a little off-put by Ibuki's boy craziness and Kimberly's cheerleader spunky attitude.
  15. Ibuki walks in on Maki and Kimberly having a pretty spirited discussion. Maki states to Kimberly that since she was taught in Bushinryu by the same master as Kimberly's current teacher, Guy, that Kimberly will one day come to learn the art under Maki herself. Kimberly replies that she is fine learning under Guy and reminds Maki that Guy was chosen as Bushinryu Grandmaster and not her. Ibuki chimes in, saying that she's a pretty good ninja herself since she was raised by a respected ninjutsu clan, eliciting an annoyed look from Maki and a smirk from Kimberly. Maki then challenges the other two young ladies to a fight of ninjutsu on the spot, to which both Ibuki and Kimberly gamefully oblige.
  16. New character added: J.A.R.V.I.S. In what may be the first MCU character I've added to the Database, Iron Man's personal A.I. is now in. There was really a need to differentiate him from the Stark estate's long-time butler. New image added: Asami Sato Just a pic of her in racing mode.
  17. Good set-up, Johnny. This kinda looks like a mini-arc with card fighters. As for the match, this Zuo Ci seems to rarely even engage in battle, and favors using his magic to either ward off attacks, teleport, or otherwise play keep-away. I'm not sure Oswald would really even be able to hurt him, but Zuo Ci seems to have another purpose in mind for him.
  18. Heh, why am I not more familiar with these brawling kangaroos? Good set-up, Johnny, and I'm glad I'm getting to this in time. Having fellow Aussies Kano and Captain Boomerang do commentary is an interesting touch. As for the match, it looks like Roger has the edge here. Not only is he genetically enhanced, but also unlike Roo, he has some human fighting moves aside from the usual kicks, hops, tail whips and punches we see from kangaroo characters.
  19. Huh, well what do you know? Thank you to all that participated in the Draft, made good picks, and put in good debates. It all helped to make this Draft as entertaining as always. This was probably my best Drafted and definitely my best-performing team yet (not to mention having possibly the most convoluted team name in the history of the Draft, lol), but it surely wasn't an easy road to make it this far. I hope all of your guys and more join in on the next one. Just remember to do your best to draft well, debate for your picks, and most of all, have fun. Thanks, y'all! And no doubt these Death Matches were a battle. In fact, this may encapsulate them perfectly, except Culwych and I were both the older guys.
  20. Funny thing is that Doom ended up defeating Kang in the original Secret Wars storyline. In fact, it took two Kang variants to take Doom down the last time they faced off.
  21. Not likely. Steve is peak human in literally every sense, which doesn't just go for his strength, speed, and agility, but also his hand-to-eye coordination, depth perception, spatial awareness, etc. All are fine-tuned to the point where he can throw a fast ball as hard as any MLB pitcher, hit any trick shot in billiards (hence a big part of how he can ricochet-throw his shield at any angle), and predict the paths of bullets fine enough to appear that he can dodge them. So yeah, he won't have any more trouble keeping balance in an office chair than Holt, and that and his superior physical attributes should allow him to outpace Terrific here.
  22. You're seriously understating Reed if you're saying his smarts and developments are medieval compared to almost any era. His ability to invent things and counter enemies' tech on the fly are a huge part of the Fantastic Four's success, and a lot of his inventions were still cutting-edge generations after he made them. I doubt that tech in Kang's time is so far advanced that Reed couldn't develop it quickly, especially since Reed himself has been to future eras and many extraterrestrial civilizations and seen tech similarly advanced to Kang's. If Reed can regularly outdo the likes of Doctor Doom (whom he has dealt with in the past, present, future, and other dimensions), he'll surely be able outpace Kang's at reverse engineering.
  23. Another great set-up, Rakai. Pretty interesting recap in that Michelangelo had an almost Battle Nexus-esque comeback to take Mr. Big down. As for the match, after looking up Duke, he could be considered superhuman as well. Add that to his energy attacks, skill, and likelihood that he won't take Raphael lightly after seeing Donnie and Mikey in action, and Raph may be in for a pretty tough fight. Having beaten other top-tier SNK fighters, though, Raph should be able to pull through. Leonardo's probably gonna have his hands full going up against Geese Howard, though.
