Gabriel began to wonder what was going on, hearing Conner's attempt at an explanation. He paused, unsure if he should hear Conner out or hurry to catch up with Vinnessa, by then both of them saw where the 'threat' had disappeared. He turned and asked, "Is he dangerous?" If so, he'd follow his small friend to back her up. Worry was evident on his face, wrinkling his brow. His voice was garbled, the effects of partially transforming. Vinnessa found a spot that would allow her to hide most or all of her body wherever she could, be it around a corner or behind a group or large structure. Her ears pricked up as they strained to catch whatever words the stranger was saying. She was prepared to figure out just how much of a threat he was and deal with the boy accordingly. All she knew for certain, was that he wasn't harmless. Her tight grip on her dagger pommels whitened her knuckles.
