Ace Ventura is cooky enough to play both sides, giving information to authorities as well as act as if he's on Black Cat's side, but I'm not sure if Black Cat would even want him on her missions. He's a bit of a liability, is obnoxiously loud and would probably be the equivalent of a bull in a china shop if she were to bring him anywhere that requires patience and careful handling of any one object. Yeah, Black Cat might not know she's feeding info to feds, but she won't really want him at all.

To add to that, Ace is about as subtle as a bull in a china shop. Even if she does take him on her missions, as soon as it becomes clear there's a rat, all fingers are gonna be pointing at him

Going with my girl Felicia, Ace is way too over-the-top and flamboyant to try to pass as a criminal. Black Cat will be able to pick up right away that he doesn’t have the heart to be a villain, especially when she notices his soft spot for animals.

Ace Ventura undercover in a legitamate criminal syndicate would be a sight to see. Not that he would be good at it, but it would be entertaining for the brief time that it lasts.
