I'm just going by the info I could find online for Equinox, but it says an attack that threatened to destroy the universe pretty much splintered Equinox, so Frieza can just go Golden Mode and put the hurt of Equinox if that's true. However, Equinox seems to have more to him than that, so I'm obviously going to refrain from voting until more people chime in

Even if Equinox has the power of the Lords of Order and the Lords of Chaos for this fight, VS Battle Wiki stats show that Frieza has the advantage in every area: Golden Frieza is Universe level+ on Attack Potency, Speed, Striking, and Durability. Equinox at his best is only Universe level. Come on DBZ fans don’t let my guy have another unjust lose!

He might have had universal powers, but from reading about what he's actually done, he seems to suffer from the Green Lantern effect. Phenomenal cosmic powers, no creativity with them whatsoever. I mean, at this point, you're less creative than a guy who literally only flies and shoots various different shapes of energy at people. AND YOU STILL LOSE.

Sad, but it is what it is. Oh yeah, also, Frieza is massively faster. He blitzes this guy.
