C.T.
If Toph just earthbended a fort and put blankets over it after, would that count?
DSkillz
Toph and Jade would probably make good fire-forged friends. Jade has one important edge here: she has sight. She'd at least be able to see what types of blankets she could built her fort with. With suggestions from her friends and the J-Team, she could built her fort with Oriental stylings (or in the case of Paco and El Toro, also some lucha libre flair). Another factor here is that while both Jade and Toph are noted tomboys, Jade is a bit more of a fun-loving type. This may be important in both making a good blanket fort and getting others to give good suggestions for it.

She might not be able to see the blankets but she could construct one hell of a base for her fort. Way more intricate and detailed than anything Jade could whip up in basically any amount of time. This is easy for Toph

Not that Jade doesn't also have fun in combat, but she tends to find fun in more diverse ways. 2 hours ago, Peypeypeypey said: Toph is definitely fun-loving. The objective here, though, is to make a fort out of blankets, and given that Toph can't see the blankets' designs, that leaves her at a distinct disadvantage. Toph can use earth as a skeleton for her fort, like I said. She can also effectively see the outlines of everything so she could hang the blankets just fine. And she's not just motivated by combat. She's motivated by competition. She loved beating those swindlers at their own game in that episode where she fought with Katara. She just loves competition

She can't make out finer details such as color, drawing designs, etc., and she can't really picture things the way seeing kids could. Sure, Toph could make a fine frame for a fort, but she couldn't decorate it intricately, and the outer look of a blanket fort is a big part of what gives it character. Meanwhile, while Jade probably can't make as secure of a skeleton as Toph, she could definitely give the fort a more detailed outer look with the blankets and other decor with pictures and designs her friends would appreciate. I don't know what kind of blanket fort you've built, but in my experience, coloring and decor are basically non-factors. It's something some kids might be interested in, but the structure, skeleton, and size of the fort are far more important than the elegant little details like color. I looked up "blanket fort" on google images just to check if maybe my experience was the atypical one, but none of them had any kind of color coordination or elegant little details that Toph couldn't create, and the only recurring detail that Toph would struggle with is that a few of them had signs, which is something Toph couldn't do, but it's also a very small detail that is by no means necessary. Again, there are a some kids that might be more swayed by the things you mentioned, but the majority wouldn't really care, and would much prefer a bigger castle-like fort that Toph could build
