Kurenai dashed through the nighttime forest... Lord Takeda had sent her on a mission through this area, locate and put to rest a murderous undead spirit. She held onto her Kunai as she dashed towards the houses at the lake front.... eyes peeled for any movement, ears alert to any sound, feet treading silently....

Bah, it didn't matter, they were all guilty in Jason's eyes, and through the worn out eyeholes of his hockey mask, Jason would take aim at Kuranai with his spear gun. Luckily, for the zombie it was already loaded, so he just had to try and focus, to get a good shot.

Tilting his head in confusion, Jason wouldn't understand why this teenager had taken that awkward stance. But, that wouldn't stop him. Nothing apart from complete destruction would stop this 'machine'. So taking aim, with his speargun, Jason would aim it at the girl's legs and then pulled the trigger.

Quick ninja reflexes honed for years since she almost died on the tree allowed her to sense the moment of the attack. Her natural reaction to ranged weaponry was to get out of the way, and so she flipped to the side, rolling back up into a defensive stance as the bolt whistled by...

 

She couldn't really go into the bushes after it, so she waited for it to show itself... Though if it didn't she had other ideas of what to do...

Kurenai saw the bushes moving and immediately sprung into action. She whipped out her kunai with frightening speed, the wire line buzzing our from the spool she carried under her arm, strung out to the knife flying at where her enemy was moving...

She was ready for an attack, and heard the clink of the firing mechanism just like last time... As she was sidestepping to swing her knife wire, she doubled her step just as she heard the sound having the spear miss her by inches.

 

As for the attack by Jason on the wire, he would find that the kunai would be farther out then he thought. He only managed to hit the wire, but that wasn't so good as it made the wire alert Kurenai to where the undead monster was, it would also swing the blade in at Jason from the side as the Ninja reeled it in ever so slightly...

Jason would try to bring his machete down to sever the wire or atleast damage it, as the kunai dug into his side, poking Jason's useless organs. But, if he couldn't, he would try to prevent himself from being pulled by jamming his machete into the ground..

She wrapped the wire, below the damaged section, around her knife and slashed it, only to retie it around the loop of her knife once again... back to 100%... she'd been doing this alot, and if a wire ninja were to survive on the battlefield, she would have to keep her wire in good condition...

With a quick dodge she was able to get under the arc of the flying weapon, and not wasting time and momentum, she whipped out her Kunai once again, this time, already in a sweeping arc through the bushes towards where she sensed the undead monster.

Jason, would leap back, and if he could, since the wire was going in a sweeping motion, try to grab not the kunai, for he could lose his fingers that way, but the wire itself and hopefully with his probably much superior strength pull this cursed girl towards him, so he could gut her...

If her enemy didn't have a good grasp on the line then it would slide within their hand, maybe cutting them. The knife on the end of the line though would fly through their grasp, slashing their hands good...

 

Or, if they had managed to wrap the line around their hands or an object for leverage, then the yank would be futile. She'd quickly change tactics before being dragged out to her enemy, by drawing more line while keeping tension on it, so that she could wrap it around a tree. With an artful and fast flip she'd tie it in a loose knot, one that would give the impression that she was fighting the pull on the line... before she cut her line off from herself.

 

The knot in the line around the tree would hold, and slip, and hold again, giving the appearance that the monster was reeling in a fighting victim... while that same victim had free'd herself and was promptly fixing another kunai onto her line and stealthing around to the flank of her target...

 

She would use an invisibility scroll to go completely unseen as she neared her target...

If he managed to duck under it in time, he would pick up the now broken speargun and throw it at where he saw the kunai coming from. If he had even managed to throw it in the first place , he would try to tackle whoever was controlling the wire as he followed the gun after the 'kunai'. .

Kurenai accounted for the attempted dodge downward, by dropping herself low to the ground to avoid the speargun as well as whip the wire kunai downward as it reached her target. The kunai wouldn't have the same effect as beheading, but it should whip down into the monsters face...

But, still his mask would be destroyed the kunai cracking it, revealing Jason's deformed face which had various maggots and worms in his left empty eye socket. But his other eye which was black was the only thing showing that this....thing had used to be human, as Jason managed to croak out something tht sounded like '...Ah..." He would then try to flee into the nearby woods that were by the bushes, hoping the trees would give him the element of surprise...

Jason would look back, and would jump as fast as his rotted body would allow him, to hopefully avoid the whip, and once he did he would continue running, as he remebered his shack which had all sorts of weapons inside of it...He just had to make it thier first.
