Match 20498 Gamora vs. The Arbiter

Previously: Successfully finding the Mind Infinity Stone, Vilgax located another one. He sent his elite team consisting of Arbiter, Drako, Starkiller and Skaar to secure it.

Thanos, too, has been searching for the Infinity Stones and sent Gamora to destroy these rivals. Her first opponent was Drako.

Working for Vilgax was enjoyable. The Arbiter found contentment in service to a being with vision and purpose.

He came from a collective called The Covenant. A group of aliens in the Milky Way galaxy who discovered and learned to use ancient technology. The Mimbari were displeased with the Covenant’s activities and set out to shut them down.

Vilgax found The Arbiter while on an adventure battling company of Khuds. Because he didn’t like the Khuds, Arbiter assisted him. As Vilgax explained his quest for the Infinity Stones, Arbiter volunteered to join him.

Acting as military commander, Arbiter lead the elite warriors within Vilgax’s orgnization. Their current mission was to find the Infinity Stone that had been reported being located and put it into Vilgax’s hand.

He was disappointed that Vigax’s new ally Galvatron did not send his warriors along with them. He had never heard of Cybertronians before and was curious to learn more about these transforming mech beings.

The team had spread out trying to ascertain the Infinity Stone’s hiding place. When Drako didn’t check in, Arbiter wasn’t concerned. He didn’t trust that dragon. His boasting sometimes caused him to tell on himself and his true ambitions. One day he would betray Vilgax when circumstances favored him. When Drako made his move, Arbiter was ready to put him down.

Procedure demanded that he check out the dereliction of duty. Drako’s area was near his so venturing there was no problem. He allowed Starkiller and Skarr to continue their search rather than pulling everyone away only to find Drako rebelling for his own ego boost.

The sound of fighting alarmed him but their mission was so important that Arbiter didn’t want to call the others. When he arrived, a green-skinned woman that was about to finish the dragon. It’s not the worst loss his team could suffer but Drako had not enacted his betrayal yet so it was his duty as commander to support him.

When Gamora aim-dodged his needler blasts, he grew excited at the challenge. Forgetting Drako the woman started coming for Arbiter. This would be a hearty conflict.

How would Gamora deal with the Arbiter's ability to go invisible?

Well if it’s as “effective” as regular Elites invisible then I doubt Gamora will have trouble spotting them. Like as soon as he moves he becomes very visible to the untrained eye.

In a straight up match I must lean Gamora. The Arbiter scales to Master Chief who probably scales to super soldiers like Captain America. I view Gamora as slightly above super soldier level considering I’ve seen her knock the wind out of Classic Drax and beat She-Hulk twice.
