Okay, it's been established throughout the Draft that Betelgeuse/Beetlejuice can be at least partially reined in with the right personality. If Jack is his more free-spirited self, he may have a chance here. If he's more petulant like he was in Frosty's Winter Wonderland, though, he will likely egg on Betelgeuse's/Beetlejuice's antics further.

I would have to believe Jack would rehabilitate him. I mean given how Beetlejuice was easily manipulated and ultimately tricked in the original film I believe Jack could perhaps do the same in a way to rehabilitate him. Beetlejuice never really got his plan completed throughout the movie for one, and two he was vulnerable.
