Dragon Emperor saga

 

Previously: Jafar hypnotized Lau Chan, the king of chefs in order to learn the location of the Dragon Emperor.

American authorities teamed Lau’s daughter Pai with a military unit (Rambo, Rick O'Connell, Madmartagin, Prince Phillip, Maximus) to stop the Dragon Emperors revival.

 

 

Rambo could tell that his team was outmatched. Outnumbered as their opponents were, the enemy was superior to his team.

The big guy was cleaning Phillip’s and Madmartigin’s clocks simultaneously. That was quite a feat in Madmartigin’s case.

Pai and their Chinese liaison, Mulan were having the same problems with the old chinaman. Whoever he was, neither lady could lay a hand on him.

Rambo himself was trying to support Rick against the black guy. He was stronger and faster than he should have been.

Pride was going to block a retreat but if something didn’t change his team was going to start loosing their lives.

Maximus was the key. Smartest horse he’d ever seen. Not that he had seen a lot. The narrow cave didn’t give Maximus much room but Rambo called him in anyway.

True horsepower knocked the old chinaman off his feet although he was right back up, surprised more that dazed. The grappler guy that was mnahandling Phillip and Madmartagin was knocked into a wall with a horsekick.

The black guy caught on to what was happening and drew back.

“What’s wrong?” Rick O’Connell taunted. “Scared of our steed?”

“A man’s gotta know when to fold ‘em!” Simon Phoenix shouted back.

The resistance defeated, Rambo gathered his team.

“Everybody still alive?”

They were. Much to his surprise and less displayed delight.

“Let’s get moving.” the team leader ordered. “This was a stall move to keep from interrupting whatever they’re doing up there.”

Just a few meters into the chamber the team ran into another party.

“Hold there!” the lead man shouted.

Mulan stepped to the front of their group. “Shang?” She couldn’t believe her eyes.

Li Shang glared at her. “This is the chamber of the Emperor of China. You don’t have authorization to be here.”

“First of all,” Rick O’connell replied. “There is no Emperor of China.”

“Not active no.” Shang said back. “But that’s about to change.”

“Shang.” Mulan said pleadingly. “What is this. What are you doing? You’re a solider!”

“In service to the emperor!” Shang finished her statement.

“So here’s what we have!” Prince Phillip attempted some diplomacy. “Me and my fellows are here under the authority of the Chinese government! You and your lot are traitors!”

Shang snorted. “A placeholder. To keep order until we revive the Emperor!”

At that point the talking was over. Shang only a few men with him and Rambo’s team quickly put them down leaving Shang alone.

“Please Shang.” Mulan said as they advanced on him. “Surrender.”

“As long as one stands...”

He drew his sword, and swung it at her.

Mulan fell back surprised.

Here, Madmartigin put his hand on her shoulder drawing a sword of his own.

“You want it to be this way, fine. Go ahead Mulan. This is obviously too personal for you. Let me take care of him. You don’t need to see this.”

The others moving on. Shang squared off with Madmartigin.

“You’re a fool for staying.”

“Famous last words. For my new friend Mulan, I’ll just run you through rather then cut you to pieces.”

 

Fight Parameters:

Li Shang battles Madmartigin to the death. No holds bar.

Good set-up, leroy. Lol at have the horse take out Simon.  

As for the match, from what I remember of Willow and have seen of Shang in Mulan, this is honestly a toss-up. Both men have taken on bigger foes, and while Shang lost his fight with Shan Yu, Yu was bigger and very likely a tougher opponent than the guy Madmartigan killed in Willow. 

So yeah, probably a toss-up here.

Li Shang is my guy for this bout. Good setup here. I wanna see the Dragon Emperor's Revival.

Thanks everybody. I was getting scared for a while. Toss up for me too. I won't say who I'm voting for. 

And the Dragon Emperor is going to be a big player in the megastory so stay with it.
