The Viltrumites might be able to just punch through the Alien's ships. Their biggest weakness is that there are so few of them

So the Aliens of Independence Day have a pretty vast fleet and will just start going in on  Earth right away with their giant magma sucker thing that they used in Revengence. I think they are much stronger than the aliens we see in Invincible, and the shields are a huge problem. They are baseline nuclear impenetrable, and we don’t see anything that can actually really punch through them. Outside of hacking, not sure if the Viltrumites can do that, I don’t think the shields get removed.

 

There are going to be so many aliens that I think they’ve got a good shot here. I don’t know a ton about how the Viltrumites go on an invasion, however
