Ratchet dabbling in synthetic energon is not on this tier, but if he was on synthetic energon he might try it. Dr. Bashir has been pretty ethical in his experiments. He objects to Sisko's request to have Bio-Mimetic gel on the grounds that others might conduct unethical experiments. I think Ratchet could make a better beast bot.
