This feels like a toss up to me. Diddy Kong doesn't have the insane feats that Donkey Kong has, and Yoshi beating the giant Bowser at the end of the SNES game feels like a Cuphead boss, but Diddy is also a competent fighter and is more nimble. Leaning Yoshi but I'm not certain

I think Yoshi’s best strengths are that he has some better airborne abilities, can create strong projectiles and I think could probably eat most of the projectiles being thrown at him, in addition to being an experienced jumper.

This is really anyone's match. Cuphead is hard no matter who is playing. If Diddy has some feats other than just being a monkey, then maybe he has a shot. Idk.

Diddy has a jetpack and those peanut guns, I think in a side scroller fight like this he should have an advantage.
