I think I like Neville here a lot. Smart, a little paranoid so he would have his ear to the ground of the situation, good at surviving. Claire doesn't bring a lot to the table here, whereas Neville can set up all kinds of traps to get the vampire/zombies and a similar thing might work here

Yeah, Neville takes this by quite a lot. He’s more resourceful, tougher, craftier, and as an army officer the townspeople will be more likely to listen to him and follow his ideas on how to kill the Graboids.
