Will need to consider more, but if memory serves this guy lost to Sir Crocodile before, right? That means Luffy should be in the ballpark of winning here

Both would be excited to fight the other. But the problem Rider has it that he doesn't have much in the way of hurting Luffy. Luffy's Haki will block the sword attacks so that won't work either. I think Rider gets tired out then surrenders or Luffy blitz him with Gear Second.

Luffy doesn't have the esoteric abilities of Sir Crocodile. Being able to control sand, although it seems like a strange power, would actually be extremely busted in the hands of the right person. Luffy has rubber manipulation, but it doesn't really help as most of his fights end up being slugfests and against Alexander I don't know if that's a good idea.
