Alright, I don't know much about my pet monster, but Emmet should be able to do a pretty good job of this. He could build a fort to keep the danger out, or a racecar to get away.

My Pet Monster is much larger than Emmet. He is about the size of a child so I think that would grant him an advantage in protecting said child.

That's dependent on what the situation is, as saving a child's life is a pretty broad challenge. Someone who can build shelter and aid in quickly escaping outshines
