  1. Very conflicted on this one. I'm giving the edge to Griswold, though, for these reasons. 1. Clark Griswold has been shown to have a low level luck / toon force that tends to keep the worst from happening. 2. The scenario does not favor Annabelle, in my opinion, because at first sight you can tell it's a creepy, evil doll that is going to look out of place. 3. Santa's Workshop will likely have many options (tools, machines) for Clark to leverage either on purpose or by accident which damage or disassemble a doll.
  2. If I remember correctly, Matt Murdoch gets his enhanced sense powers from being exposed to some radioactive substance. Ergo, the senses are super powers. And therefore, I must pick Felicia who will essentially be throwing balls at a blind man. Truly a sad spectacle but it is what it is.
  3. There are 16 rounds, running to the end of January. This has a looong way to go.
  4. Throughout his storied career in commercials the Pillsbury Doughboy has been in many situations and interacted with many folks. Everybody loves the Pillsbury Doughboy. He would definitely win the vote with his yummy policies and speeches.
  5. Can Michael Myers spread holiday cheer? No, not even a little bit. He is a single-minded killing machine. Can Belle be a Horror Icon? Well, maybe. I mean she has experience with Beast and a haunted castle - all of which spooked the villagers. She's also quite resourceful and well read. I think Belle can get her Halloween on pretty well, if circumstances call for it.
  6. Dude... I Googled that. Jeeze, is nothing sacred? I'm sure that wasn't the original intention for the character. Bad luck, tho. I also discovered the Grimace Shake meme. Kinda wish I'd picked Grimace, now.
  7. I'm not running this draft event or providing the challenges. This is @IKA site and show. I'm just technical support. 🙂
  8. I understand. But, we picked our teams at the end, using left-overs. Comparatively, I figure our teams suck. It's just the luck of the scenario drawn.
  9. I like Time Toolman's chances of selling a fixer-upper like the Amity house.
  10. It's Star Fleet's finest expendables with their formal combat training against Gears of War brutish expendables with their strength. It could go either way. Locust Drones don't seem difficult to defeat in Gears of War. But, then again, Red-Shirts have a knack for getting on the wrong side of danger.
  11. The Alien Costume was created by H.R. Giger, an artist who has inspired many with his grotesque Biomechanical art style. The Alien Costume was so disturbing that it won the 1979 Academy Award for visual design. It's been over-used since then, of course, but it was cultural nightmare fuel when the public first saw it back when Alien was released. Trains are cool also, but costume-wise I believe the art of H.R. Giger and the Alien design in particular has had more impact on the culture than Polar Express.
  12. Jack Skellington is representing here in the "Christmas Themed Character" slot. That's important because Jack Skellington sucked at Christmas. Does Elvira suck at Christmas? No! She's great at giving people exactly what they want. Can Jack Skellington do Elvira's job and keep an audience watching B-grade horror films? Probably not as well, no.
  13. Tough one. I'm guessing Blacula can make more Vampires, as most Vampires can. Therefore, I assume Blacula can spreadh his influence further.
  14. No, I don't think that Lady Claus is gonna get taken down in her old man's Workshop. Could make for a fun movie, though.
  15. Generally speaking, Mickey Mouse does not operate like Warner Brothers toons. Go back to the comics of the 30's - 50's and Mickey is often put in danger by fairly mundane circumstances. So, against a better hunter I'd give serious thought to Mickey's chances. But, it's Gaston. A none-too-bright Disney villain that is a lot like the ones in the comics Mickey would triumph against.
  16. I went with Drago. I just feel this venue plays more to his strengths. John Wick depends on having weapons or using items in the environment as weapons, IMO. In any other venue, where there are items in the environment to use as weapons (like a pencil, perhaps) I would give it to Wick.
  17. There may be a Christmas Themed character that can rehabilitate the Wishmaster Djinn, but I don't think Jack Frost is the one. I like the Djinn's chances here.
  18. I have to agree that Conan is disadvantaged in the bicycle stretch. While I would assume that he would pick-up a good head start in other areas, there just isn't enough margin to learn the bicycle skill. That said, I know Conan has visited the modern era in comics, and I went looking for the comic panel that shows him riding a bicycle. Alas, it does not exist.
  19. I have to go with Dig-Em Frog, here. As seen in the advertisement, linked, the Frog routinely helps kids get past the "weird" look of the cereal and just enjoy it. And what's more weird than a property you are selling in Silent Hill? Go on, just give it a try...
  20. Can Annoy-Mouse can chase IG-88 out? The answer is "No". IG-88 is not bothered by Annoy-Mouse. The objective will be secured.
  21. Mad Max V8 Interceptor all the way! Transformers live in a total fact-based reality run by logic and programmatic thought. Mad Max IS the Wacky Racer. The world it navigates is an insane Hell-Scape, and through all the crazy chases and leaps, battered, dented and bruised it somehow finds the spirit and diesel to say "is that all you got?" Mad Max V8 Interceptor is your top choice for Wacky Racing.
  22. Test. Also, Patrick Star bloodlusted.
