  1. Absolutely they are not mindless - and indeed are a formidable foe to what is a quite militarised future of Earth. As I said - Goooooo Bugs! We need a cheerleader to promote them for the win!
  2. Most martial arts apart from perhaps kickboxing and capoeira include an element of grappling, some more than others. He's a black belt in 6, so there must be an element but I can't recall the exact ones. A quick google search came up with this as one of the first images, which looks a lot like a Judo or Jujutsu throw which is favoured in MMA.
  3. 😄😄😄 @Twogunkid is in another league, I'm just doing my best to keep up with the master! ...Much like Data would would do in this chess match...
  4. A timer doesn't matter if one character can do significantly more complex calculations faster, and thereby be 50x more moves ahead (maths calculation pending)!
  5. A beating might get him cancelled in some western countries, but it is perfectly acceptable in a lot of the world. The challenge is to spread it around the world. I don't think digital cctv and other cameras use mirrors like they used to in the old days, but not sure. That's my point as well, what Van Helsing prepped centuries for is basic common knowledge now!
  6. It is definitely a solid base, and is needed, but no boxer can survive or has survived in the MMA ring simply because a lot of the fights end with flying kicks, knees to the head, or on the ground wrestling. Agreed, they'd probably get a long - although sometimes Mr Terrific can be a bit blunt lol.
  7. In his world, Michael Scott is the most beloved character in a documentary series that aired in numerous countries. It touched the hearts of millions. He is also the manager of the most successful branch of a company, of which he was one of the most successful salesman.
  8. Sometimes you just have to go with your fav character as that is who you'd most want to see in costume - so Wishmaster all the way on this one. "Make your wishez"
  9. I don't think he could do those calculations instantaneously like Amazo could. Being able to think that fast is a good factor in chess.
  10. Yes it's Deaths doing. In the books and comics Death actually appears to the people letting them know he's coming for them. By your second argument then we could argue that no horror character ever needs to be rehabilitated as philosophically they are indeed bringing death in their own way at the natural time...
  11. I'm sure I recall a technique Po did which sent a wave of air or something through an entire village and beyond (will look it up and try and find it). I reckon that'd put out any fires that have already been started, and then Po is going to be pretty annoyed at Trevor at having caused such harm, especially to all the little animals that live there. That’s when Pos full abilities will be used and Trevor is in trouble.
  12. The challenge is to sell the house, which Scott can do. Saying Scott is the mascot here and could not leverage his sales abilities is akin to saying a Djinn is a horror character therefore could not enter a costume competition. The Count could be a mascot and try and entice buyers, but Scott could be both the face and mascot of the company looking to sell the vacation spot, AND get out there and start doing what he does best and actually get it sold.
  13. I don't actually think Fox would have an easy way of killing a shape-shifting terminator who can split in 2, perfectly mimic anyone as well as control a vast amount of technology. But I'll concede that in this round, the Bugs slaughtering everyone may be a stretch to the rules of the scenario. But let's let the voters decide! 😄
  14. This may be a whole new era of children who are good! Imagine the joy. And also there is so much candy to give. As to Dracula, he didn't go undetected in London and was beaten by 2 normal guys. He may have ruled for centuries but that's not going either undetected or possible in modern times. He may try and slink around but modern DNA techniques, cameras everywhere etc will mean he is caught in days. Especially as the whole point is to spread fear as widely as possible.
  15. Speed and striking power matter little when the opponent can sweep your legs, bring you to the ground, put you in a lock, and forcr you to submission. If anyone does watch MMA, the perfect example here is thr famous fight between Khabib and McGregor. The latter is an amazing striker, fast powerful punches that were feared in 2 divisions (in which he was champion). Also an extremely determined and resilient fighter who would never give in. He was such a good striker, he competed in boxing matches, including against the champ Maywether. Khabib, a good striker but also a grappler and all round talent. In 4 rounds, he wore McGregor out and put him in a head lock that meant he either needed to tap out or would pass out (the neck crank).
  16. Apart from the Bugs being able to kill everyone in the store including the Orcs (which considering they normally go up against advanced weaponry and armour they could do), and thereby winning by default, I've got no real argument here. So killing spree it is! Go Bugs!
  17. He's a great salesman. He can do it if necessary. And who do most people buy houses from - that's right, realtors. Not many people are going to buy from a weird chocolate vampire known (I guess) for cereals?
  18. This is the vampire who struggled in the 1890s and was defeated by 2 men. We are in an era of mass communication, vampire in every media, and special task forces to deal with every issue. In order to spread fear he must put himself on the radar, and that means risking death. Belsnikel only needs a few people to spread the word around Christmas and the joy will come naturally with little opposition.
  19. Don't know... the finger trap is a prank toy for kids and he couldn't figure it out. Feels like a very low show, even if he did progress after that. I suppose the key argument is that if we are using intelligence as a measure of their ability to play chess (which makes sense), then there seems to be a quite huge divide simply by the scale of their powers. Amazo literally has the ability to instantly compute the exact coordinates in two dimensions simultaneously and safely move entire planets between them. If Data had that level of intellect then he'd be moving entire Borg fleets out of the way as well, instead of allowing the fleet to get into trouble in the first place. I may be wrong, but aren't there a few instances of Data being manipulated or turned against the fleet?
  20. I'd say this specific instance of Death is quite unique in a way, as we see it cause some quite horrific accidents to the people it gets involved with. There is no avoiding it, no pleading, no mercy, no reasoning, and certainly no rehabilitating it. I'm not sure what the 1840's England equivalent is for a high speed log through the face or getting roasted alive in a sunbed, but that's gonna happen here.
  21. Not taking anything away from Ippo in regards to boxing; I was just showcasing the Mr Terrific is no slouch there either. But key here is that this is MMA and not a boxing ring, and Mr Terrific is a mixed martial artist who regularly battles superpowered villains, ninjas, soldiers, monsters, and aliens using his fists and fighting skills.
  22. Agreed. And the brief is to chase the hunter out before he has finished destroying the forest - which Po can definitely do.
  23. Again, this was the logical option as the chaos magic was growing stronger so Amazo made sure to prevent that and removed himself from the scenario. He solved the problem. Meanwhile Data got stuck in a Chinese finger trap.
  24. It mentions nothing about stopping a character being evil. I suppose in the context of a horror contestant, it could mean stop making them make people afraid? However, like was argued I think with Beetlejuice, it could mean rehabilitate them from their key traits, such as his pranks and quirky mannerisms. Scrooge will not be able to rehabilitate Death on either of those factors (people will not stop being afraid of death, and he won't be able to get Death to stop killing).
  25. Well, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one I reckon. Herbie may have won some races, but he's never faced anything like the all out warfar the Autobots have. If we look at every single measure, whether it is speed, durability, experience, armour, maneuverability, or firepower then Blurr takes this in a landslide.
