  1. He doesn't have to go at super speeds, but he can nonethless be faster than Rodimus. And that's where it counts in this type of traffic; weaving quicker in and out of between cars, faster off from a red light, etc. All those moments add up. Don't think Hot Rod was always smarter than Blurr - in the key Transformers event (the Movie with Unicron), he got Optimus Prime killed because he was so foolish and had to be rescued constantly by Kup! Blurr is a Cybertronian racing champion (10 times undefeated before the war broke out), and even in robot form he is an absolute beast and could be running safely in and out of the traffic much faster than Rodimus. Gonna partly agree with @leroypowell3 on this, the only way for Rodimus to try to win is to cheat (although I don't think be would), and that means he loses by default.
  2. Perhaps Rodimus would try and cheat (perhaps as it's the only hope he has) although he certainly seemed like a character that was keen to be good as evidenced by his worthiness of being Rodimus Prime. That said - cheating should equal disqualification under the rules of this tournament and therefore the win goes to Blurr.
  3. I really feel like being lazy and saying see all arguments from the Dig 'em Frog (which Michael won) and replace Frog with Gecko. Michael is the face of a worldwide TV series, and successful salesman and manager who has acted as the spokesperson of a company in their time of need (when literally their product was catching fire). He has the experience, the skills and the scenario to win, and his opponent is a reptile.
  4. Could Belsnickel try and make people's wishes come true in horrible ways, absolutely. Could the Djinn, a being from another realm obsessed with freeing his brethren so they can destroy making hand out candy and cakes to good little children with a smile on his face - nope.
  5. Ah, didn't realise until I scrolled up that those were death matches. So if I've understood correctly then you could well still come second if I lose all but one or two of my matches (which knowing @DSkillz is very possible!).
  6. Being the king of prep is all good, but this is literally against a being who evolves unpredictably in every single battle. Plus, this is Po's home turf
  7. Amazo should have this I'm the bag, as he evolves whilst the SI is, if anything, inflexible. But, to confirm, here are some words from AI: Amazo wins the creative writing contest by leveraging his unique ability to replicate and synthesize the talents and styles of the world's greatest writers. He combines the emotional depth, narrative complexity, and imaginative scope of various literary masters into a single, original work. This synthesis allows him to create a story that is not only technically proficient but also deeply original and resonant with readers. By adapting his approach to incorporate feedback and meet the audience's expectations, Amazo demonstrates that his adaptability and capacity for learning extend beyond physical combat to creative excellence, showcasing a novel form of creativity born from unparalleled mimicry and evolution.
  8. Death incarnate, who is a shape-shifting force that is able to look like anything, including but not limited to a pile of corpses, a Demonic mist or a deadly mysterious man. Or a train. Which a lot of people have to get every day to work in the morning. I know which one would get my vote! Easy win for Death.
  9. Little known fact, but the Arachnids are actually very similar to a few different DnD monsters and therefore are perfectly suited to LARP. They are the ultimate monster for heroes to face and, even better, don't have to worry about being grumpy soldiers trying to act, or feel embarrassed. They can literally play themselves and fit in perfectly! The Bugs for the win!
  10. At last, we have a Transformers match up. And in this task, Blurr can do everything Rodimus can, except faster... so Blurr for the win.
  11. Does everyone know what the key to winning the Office Chairs race is? Nope, not speed or even leg strength- it is balance. Its all about balancing and propelling yourself forward without falling off. And that's where a guy who spends his days and his battles balanced on spheres is going to absolutely shine.
  12. Kang's inventions are thousands of years ahead of Reeds. This is the equivalent of a modern day scientist looking at a medieval witch doctor's drawings and vice versa. Ok maybe not quite because Reed is a smart guy, but ultimately Kang is going to be looking at things he probably learned already in school, whilst Reed is going to have to spend time and have an uphill battle deciphering Kangs futuristic inventions.
  13. OK folks.... this is it. The big one. Chaos, the godlike being who above all despises Fate and will look to change what it has decreed. Versus, a Terminator. The robot from the future who seeks to and, more importantly, can change the future, I.e. defy Fate itself. This is the perfect scenario for Chaos to finally achieve his ultimate goal, and allow himself to be successfully hunted in order to change the future and defy Fate!
  14. You were more than a worthy opponent, thanks for some great debates!
  15. Herbie may well cross the finish line - but definitely not before Blurr. 😁
  16. You can always change your vote my friend. Do it for all the baby pandas out there counting on you.
  17. That is exactly my point. Everyone knows Dracula. Heck, the most successful films featuring Dracula in recent times were this guy: Even if he goes on a killing spree, the world is A. Not going to be that scared, especially considering the things we humans do to each other, B. Have so much common knowledge on defeating vampires that were confined to a few specialists in Draculas time, and C. The modern world has evolved so much that he'll be exposed very quickly
  18. Trust me, he can win the challenge by sending Trevor flying, as he has done in countless battles. And this is before he uses any of his more advanced techniques!
  19. Agreed - characters are plot driven. Saying that, I've been watching Baki - and those supposed "humans" are literally regrowing their teeth in the middle of a fight or throwing punches after their hands have been chopped off.
  20. Jigsaw is a horror character that doesn't really "slay"; he forces his victims to choose between death and redemption (of a sort). His opponent is a train and its crew. I had literally no idea how this one could pan out - so I asked AI to summarise a movie where these two crossover, and here is the result: In a chilling twist on holiday cheer, "Jigsaw's Polar Nightmare" melds the macabre ingenuity of Jigsaw with the wintry wonder of the Polar Express. The story unfolds as Jigsaw, driven by his twisted moral compass, targets the iconic train in a bid to test the faith and integrity of its passengers and crew. Setting diabolical traps amidst the snowy landscapes and the magical carriages of the Polar Express, Jigsaw forces each passenger to confront their deepest fears and darkest secrets in a series of harrowing challenges. As the journey becomes a survival gauntlet, the true spirit of Christmas and humanity is put to the ultimate test. In a heart-stopping climax, the passengers band together, their shared trials fostering an unbreakable bond that leads them to outwit Jigsaw. The movie concludes on a note of poignant victory, as the Polar Express, battered but unbowed, reaches its destination, teaching everyone aboard the true meaning of courage, redemption, and the indomitable strength of the human spirit in the face of darkness. Guess I'm leaning Polar Express.
  21. Mr Terrific survived an explosion of Nth metal bomb pretty much to the face, and defeated an opponent in the ice whilst he had two broken ribs. I'm less keen on this one, but he managed to keep on fighting after an attack that was breaking him down at a molecular level! He's not going down to a decisive knockout blow, before he's forced Ippo to submit.
  22. It was a weird version of Death who didn't actually kill, but instead fed on the life essences of those who had died like a vampire lives of the blood. And to add - Po took himself to the land of death (the spirit realm) and was totally awesome there:
  23. There's a difference between someone sitting at a computer and doing a hack, and someone trying to hack a killing liquid metal machine able to disguise itself as your best friend which is itself an expert hacker that is actively trying to kill you. Whilst moving like this...
  24. I've been torn between these two as Hood does one key advantage (which may have been mentioned) which is his equipment. He has lasers, flywing built into his armour and more - which I don't know if the contestants are not allowed to use. Cap has his shield, which sure - is amazing - but less versatile in my opinion than the range of options Todd is bringing to this competition. But that said.... Cap is a beast! Superhuman in all but name. I realise I am out of time to vote probably... but what a great match up.
