I think the villains win. There's more diversity in powers and stuff on their team.

I agree, but their biggest problem is going to be teamwork. The hero team are all heavy hitters, they have MM's telekinesis to stay in synch, and they are on the same page about what should be done with the objects. The villains would be just as likely to turn on each other than to fight the heroes. Even assuming they are forced to work together, their teamwork wouldn't be as good. Assuming none of them backstabs or betrays the others then the villains have more power and more varied powers

It's more like Chaos has a dislike of Fate, otherwise they wouldn't regularly play cards together.

But anyways, Chaos could also consider the possibility that Fate would determine that Arthur would win because of Arthur's rep of being determined and beating the odds. He may also think that Arthur always being underestimated is boring and set up situations in the maze where Arthur's actions are accounted for at every turn.

Heh, good luck for Trevor even getting to use that sword on him. :D Chaos is likely a little beyond what he's used to.

If anything, Chaos might look at Arthur and see he needs a win lol. Of the three major robberies in RDR 2, all three go wrong in some major way, all of Arthur's close friends die except like 3, he gets betrayed by his mentor/Father figure twice, he gets TB, and his gang falls apart. Fate has it out for Arthur lol

General consensus has always been that Cap is physically superior to Batman, and that has generally been proven out.

    - For example, Batman has never been able to run at 60 mph, like Cap.

    - Bats has never been thrown off a speeding train, then caught up to on foot like Cap has.

Given that Cap's generally considered physically superior, then Bats can't quite be considered peak human, right?

Besides, you still have yet to show how agile Jason himself is, though the point may be moot this late into the round.

While it's true that Cap is generally considered superior physically, that doesn't mean Bats isn't peak human. Both Cap and Bats can do things that are objectively above what any peak human can do in real life, so I would call them both "peak human." I mean, running 60 MPH is twice as fast as Usain Bolt, the fastest man. It's an objectively super human feat by any real measure, and Batman has similarly superhuman feats.

But yeah, I got off work late last night and figured most everyone had already voted so I would just leave it as is

Heh, I wouldn't bet on it. Cap not only has peak human strength, but also peak human speed and agility. Not even Batman can lay claim to those abilities.

Of course Batman can claim to be peak human in speed and agility. He's famously agile. I'm honestly not sure why you would think he isn't peak human in those areas. If anything, I would bet Batman is faster and more agile than he is strong.

It is not the Grim Reaper, but per it's own words it was "put here at the dawn of life on Earth to feed on the last of everyone of you f*****s"  He's more than some mere spirit. While not Final Destination Death, he certainly is more than a simple elemental.

I wouldn't call it a simple elemental, but if my memory serves, Trevor is the one who calls it an elemental who feeds on death. It's a powerful being and very old, but it's not the force of nature type of death that we usually see.

  6. The Bat-Family, and especially the Robins, are known for their acrobatics, stealth, and overall physical and mental prowess. I'm at work so I can't post scans, but Red Hood has trained with the best of the best in many physical areas, and I would bet is better in agility and gymnastics than Cap. Cap is no slouch, but this is what the Bat Family is specifically trained in

Jigsaw is a horror character that doesn't really "slay"; he forces his victims to choose between death and redemption (of a sort). His opponent is a train and its crew. I had literally no idea how this one could pan out - so I asked AI to summarise a movie where these two crossover, and here is the result:

In a chilling twist on holiday cheer, "Jigsaw's Polar Nightmare" melds the macabre ingenuity of Jigsaw with the wintry wonder of the Polar Express. The story unfolds as Jigsaw, driven by his twisted moral compass, targets the iconic train in a bid to test the faith and integrity of its passengers and crew. Setting diabolical traps amidst the snowy landscapes and the magical carriages of the Polar Express, Jigsaw forces each passenger to confront their deepest fears and darkest secrets in a series of harrowing challenges. As the journey becomes a survival gauntlet, the true spirit of Christmas and humanity is put to the ultimate test. In a heart-stopping climax, the passengers band together, their shared trials fostering an unbreakable bond that leads them to outwit Jigsaw. The movie concludes on a note of poignant victory, as the Polar Express, battered but unbowed, reaches its destination, teaching everyone aboard the true meaning of courage, redemption, and the indomitable strength of the human spirit in the face of darkness.

    Guess I'm leaning Polar Express.

Well I can't argue with that

Can Fox reprogram a robot? Never played Starfox as a kid, (was more of a Mario and Legend of Zelda guy) so I have no clue of Fox’s supposed reprogramming abilities.

That's a question I would like an answer to as well. I remember they had a robot on the crew in one of the Star Fox games. The one for the GameCube I think. Not the really bad one though. Assault I think?

Anyway, that's the closest I remember to Fox interacting with robots. I don't know a ton about Fox though

Chaos revels in fun on his own terms. He's powerful enough to set up this entire terrain to see if Arthur could catch him, and if Arthur catches him, it may be revealed that the Chaos he caught was in fact an avatar and the real Chaos was never in the maze in the first place.

You heard it here first, folks. According to DSkillz, Chaos was never even in the arena, make it an automatic win for Arthur

Jokes aside, I disagree just a bit with this reasoning because while it's true Chaos would be in no real danger, if Arthur has no chance of winning at all then he would consider it boring and would think Fate had determined Arthur has to lose, ans Chaos hates Fate more than anything. I think the most likely scenario is Chaos makes a game of it they is possible for Arthur to win but very hard, and Arthur, workhorse that he is, would overcome the challenges

  10. 7 minutes ago, DSkillz said:

The problem with that argument is that Chaos was never really tricked in the episode. He was playing along with everyone's attempted machinations the entire time.

Or he could add to the chaos of Arthur's chase by making the maze more labyrinthine or, say, making a reflection of himself in every mirror in the maze, (even in places where he's not located), create all manner of traps, create enough avatars of himself that Arthur would never be sure if he's caught up to the real Chaos, etc. That would be more than enough to fill the chaotic quota.

Also, Chaos revels in the fun of mayhem. If he simply allowed Arthur to catch him, that would be the end of the mayhem as well as Chaos's amusement.

I didn't mean to imply he would make it easy for Arthur, but if he made it impossible for Arthur then he wouldn't have his fun, either. As you say, he loves messing with people. He would make it very difficult, but possible, for Arthur to win for his own amusement. If Arthur has no chance, then it's boring, and Chaos would hate that. My point is that Arthur is just the kind of person that people constantly underestimate, and he could very well surprise even Chaos and pull an unexpected win in the scenario Chaos cooks up

Giving his victims an option to escape, no matter how arduous, is literally Jigsaw's modus operandi. Don't see why he would change that up for this particular task.

Besides, it's very difficult to make a trap inescapable when magic's involved, such as the magic that surrounds the Express and Christmas as a whole in the movie. Unless you're saying that Jigsaw can suddenly perform magic.

Here's the thing: the Polar Express is essentially a character onto itself, and the picks have already been accepted at this point.

Oh I wasn't even trying to say the Polar Express shouldn't have been accepted. I agree it's fine that it got in. It just makes for some strange challenges and some unusual interpretations though lol

As for the first point, again, there are Saw traps that are 100% inescapable, or rely entirely on someone else to survive (sorry about the terrible click bait article but it gets the "Jigsaw often makes inescapable traps" point across). Jigsaw is not at all above just killing people. And the reason we should assume he's going for the throat (or train whistle as it were) this time is because that's what the the challenge is. He is motivated to kill this train.

  12. I don't think a Boom Tube can take you outside of the DC Multiverse. Hell, I don't specifically remember a time when a Boom Tube has left it's specific universe but I'm sure it probably has happened. In any case, Deathstroke wouldn't be able to find Dip because he wouldn't know what Dip is and no one in his entire multiverse would either. Slade would have no reason to even think Dip exists. He would prepare traditionally, and then Yakko would do his usual toony schtick and get the win

  13. To reiterate, this would be a good fight. Red Hood was able to beat Cassandra Cain in a fair fight, who is widely considered to be one of the best fighters in DC, and has fought evenly with Deathstroke, who is probably DC's closest analog to the Super Soldier Captain America. He is peak human physically and incredibly skilled, but what gets him this win is his ruthlessness and willingness to kill (in certain parts of the continuity anyway). Those factors fit much better with this scenario

  14. I'm gonna reiterate what was said last time Chaos tied: he makes things interesting for himself. He 100% could just win outright, but it's not in character for him and Arthur is really good at catching people slipping up and underestimating him.

Also, if someone or something told Chaos his goal was to avoid Arthur in the maze, Chaos would 100% go to Arthur in the cave. Would Arthur be able to catch him fair and square? Of course not. But at he is portrayed in the episode, there is every chance that Chaos would either let Arthur win (knowing there is a force that wants Chaos to not let Arthur catch him would be the biggest insult to Chaos) or just refuse to participate altogether, giving Arthur a win by default

  15. Jigsaw chooses to build a way out of his traps, but he doesn't have to do that. If his goal is specifically to kill someone, he will just kill them. There are traps in Saw that are inescapable, and he is more than capable of killing large quantities of people at once.

Unrelated, but I also think having an entire trains worth of people for a category is a little strange when everyone else only has one character. I get that the Polar Express itself is a Christmas "Character" of sorts, it's just a little odd that it gets a while crew when no other character gets support like that

Fox can definitely incapacitate and reprogram it. He has the resources to pull it off, and as some of the Po fights in this same scenario have boiled down to, well Po could just whoop them to convince them, I don't see why Fox cannot just delete the Terminator.

The difference between those Po fights and this one is that Po was fighting humans or aliens that would give up after enough damage. The Terminators are mindless killing machines that don't feel fear, don't have a sense of self-preservation, and don't back down. Fox can't just beat it down because its programming won't let it give up

Dracula casually slams people through walls and moves faster than the eye can see. Let's not forget that Trevor has a nuclear option here also in the god-slayer sword.

Po does those things too, in just the first movie. Dracula has more powers than Po, but Po probably has better physical stats. I'm not so sure that Trevor would use the nuclear option here, or even how much it would help
