Just jumping in here, I think that Star Trek's main contrabutions would be tacticians (who would you rather have in commmand? Piett or Jimmy Kirk) and be able to create a strong economy. Everyone knows without an economy, a military cannot exist. Also as shown in one trek book (Involving the Mirror Universe can't remember the title) the Terren Empire created a replicators capable of replicating starships. I'm sure they could adapt it to size up to a few ISDs and maybe a Sun Crusher or two.

As for leadership

Palpatine will lead the coalitioan

Emperor of Man will be the equivilent of a vice president

Valoren will be the puppet leader for the people

Lord Hood, Preston , and Kirk/Picard (your preference) will be combined to create a light army of fast less powerful ships

Mon Mothma and Admiral Ackbar will lead the Star wars forces and become the main army.

Windu will lead special forces

Sloan (who should really be the Federation's President) will be the chief CIA like officer spying on the enemy

We've gone over Replicators before. They do not have the ability to replicate molecules that have unusual properties or densities. So they couldn't be made to make the Super Dense hulls of the more High Tech universes.

The Emperor would Never cede power to Palpatine, and there is no amount of Force in the Universe that could sway the EOM's will on this choice. Either EOM is Absolute Leader or Palpy has a choice: Die, work under the EOM, Work with the EOM on equal footing, or GTFO. Due to Palps ego, he probably wouldn't work with let alone under the EOM, and no-one wants to die, so I would think that the Galactic Empire would not be apart of the CoM, though they would be allied with it.

Palpatine would probably realize that he is in a no win position if he fight EOM and choose either to ally with the coalition or to make an attack against the coalition. Though it would fail, the attack would do serious damage to the coalition and the Xenos would win.

Same case on everything except palpatine.
