Heh, I think "debate" was the word you were looking for, my guy.  As mentioned, welcome to CBUB. 

I'd have to agree that Emma's generally a more skilled telepath than Jean, and until Jean merged with the Phoenix, Emma was the stronger telepath as well. 

Emma is also legit one of the most skilled telepaths in the Marvel universe. She's outdueled more powerful telepaths in psychic battles before, such as Rachel Summers.
