Team 2 have come to claim Earth by any means necessary. Because of the attack on earth a tragic amount of casualties have occurred. Seeing earth crumble Zeus, Odin & Poseidon rise to the occasion to protect the earth and its existence.

A good chance team 1 could hang for awhile because of homefield advantage. Also, the gods powers in general are fueled through the universe and earth too. They are force to reckoned with considering they are completely immortal as well as team 2. I doubt the gods are capable of stopping them completely tho without grave circumstances. If team 1 were to have a shot they would probably have to completely destroy the earth with storms and hurricanes (etc.) in order to just hold of the omnipotence of team 2. Mankind would be doomed either way.
