Previously:

 

After killing Fire Lord Ozai, the Dragon Emperor took over the Fire Nation adding it of his Chinese empire. He issued a kill order on Princess Azula and Prince Zuko. Azula was successfully assassinated by the ninja Sakura.

Zuko, a key members of the Masters of Evil, went to get the dragon dagger, the only thing that could kill the Dragon Emperor, from Arthur Petrelli.

He succeeded at that but Petrelli sent Adam Taurus after him. On top of that, the bounty on Zuko’s head caught up to him in the form of Natsu’s Fairy Tail group.

 

 

The briefing was unexpected. This in itself was not unusual. Emergencies was the nature of team Youngblood’s work. But this time, the situation seemed to present a timed opportunity.

“As it’s known, Han- the emerging emperor of China- quickly expanded to take the Fire Nation and then the small city state Fang. We suspect he killed Ozai the Fire Nations ruler. He then put a hit out on the royal family obviously to stave off revenge attacks. Prince Zuko seems to be the last man standing.

“He’s a young guy, still in his late teens but well trained. It’s confirmed that he’s associated with Baron Zemo and a new incarnation of The Masters of Evil.

“In a solo op, Zuko stole the dragon dagger from a facility owned by Arthur Petrelli (that’s a different story, not our problem right now). The dragon dagger is reputed to be the only thing that can truly kill the Chinese Emperor. We’d like to have it for when the time comes to deal with him.”

“Why aren’t we dealing with him now? He’s obviously a tyranical conqueror.” Asked Sentinel.

“He’s got plenty of enemies. We’re kind of hoping somebody else does deed.”

“If Zuko is non-compliant what do we do?” Was Sentinel’s next question.

“He’s not omega level. Won’t take much to bring him down. Like I said before. He’s young. He can be moved to a new way of thinking. The Fire Nation will need a good leader once they get out of China’s shadow.

“This is a home mission. But since we haven’t yet replaced the home team we’re just use the away team.”

“Sentinel you’re lead man. With you is Riptide, Psifire, Brahma and Photon. On stand by is Cougar, Dutch, Masada and Knightsabre.”

“Why all the power?” It’s just one guy right?” Brahma wondered.

“No it’s not. There’s a hit on Zuko and he’s already engaged.”

This mystical mercenary team proved too much even with Zuko and Adam Taurus half working together. Even if they were true partners the fire guy alone was on the verge of taking them both out.

But then a new development. Yet another group of super powered beings came onto the scene.

The American sponsored superteam Youngblood.

They had suffered a great loss at the hands of The Masters of Evil. The home team was killed in action trying to stop Gauron from retrieving his armed slave.

It was known that Zuko was a part of Zemo’s group and even though he was not a part of that operation, Youngblood had it out for him.

Nevertheless, the administration trusted that their operatives had enough self restraint to do the job as asked.

The guy in the armor spoke for the team.

“You guys back off! We’re taking Prince Zuko into custody!”

“We’re filling this contract!” Natsu threw back.

“We know about the contract that the Dragon Emperor put out on the Fire Nation’s royal family.”

Adam made his case. “He has something stolen. Give it back and I won’t be a problem for you.”

“No can do. The dragon dagger is the real reason we’re here. It and Prince Zuko goes with us.”

 

Fight Parameters:

Well they got numbers. Gotta count for something. Does Fairy Tail have psi defenses cause Psifire could take all of them out.
