So I’ll have a better argument for The Dagda later, but a sun god I don’t think is going to get many vampires.

Amaterasu does have the ability to literally turn off the sun. Vampires might appreciate a goddess who can control their weakness and remove it at will.

Does she do that? What I can find, she is basically a heavenly deity, that just seems to be entirely opposite of what vampires would appreciate.

 

The Dagda at least has a pagan, “let’s party while it’s good” thing going, along with endless refreshment. He’s also big into overindulgence, which seems like something vampires would be ok with.

Dagda looks stronger to me in this scenario. 

A druid god of life and death, time and seasons ... that just seems to me that it would speak more to a vampire living an eternal life.
