RP Battle: Jesus vs Corvette

Corvette-U4H2 looked through his visor at the muddied tracks. Something had been here recently.

 

Something big. It seemed almost... gorilla-esque, from what his readings showed. And it was close. His sensors were going crazy.

 

Perhaps he should not have opted to go on this mission alone?

Meanwhile, a Primadon general named 0 watched him through the bushes. "A little further..." he muttered to himself, backing away into the foliage. He had defense on his side. And what made a good offense? A great defense. Which is what he was making as Corvette drew closer.

Jungle with some open space. RP battle, do not interrupt.

0, knowing there may be danger, instinctively searched for higher ground, if he found some, he would head there, if not he would climb a tree.

The jungle was mostly flat, but he was able to find a tree.

 

"Picking up movement... somewhere over here..." He swept with his automatic rifle in that direction, unaware he was aiming far too low.

0 waited patiently, aiming at the armored humanoid. If he was spotted he would shoot, if not he would wait.

U4H2 delved deeper, near 0's position, but not looking up.

0 would keep waiting until the spartan got closer.

Now, Corvette was mere feet from the base of his tree. If 0 moved quickly enough, he might be able to surprise him.

0 would shoot, since his enemy was so close, accuracy shouldn't be too big a problem.

Corvette jumped back, his shields protecting him for the moment, before he pulls out his own gun and fires on Zero before kicking, hard, at the tree, which with his strength would more than likely be felled. He was shooting throughout this action.

0 leaped to another tree, still shooting. his armor protecting him from the bullets.

Corvette followed the movement on his radar, jumping upwards himself, digging his hand into the tree, pulling himself up closer to 0, shooting the entire time. He figured there had to be something about the cybernetic eye he had, so he aimed for that. Perhaps it was his targeting system?
