The character in question is one Katherine "Katie" Eclipse Venture Marek, time traveling daughter of Jedi Galen Marek aka Starkiller (Sci-Fi) and the Mistborn Vin Venture (Fantasy) she has rots on both sides of the conflict and therefore cannot simply choose a side.
