He's back... (Not Batman)...

Marvel Man

Hello and welcome! This is Marvel's Corner!

I'm afraid that I can't truly tell you what today's blog is about. It's a surprise... But someone's back. Someone that's very good... And also very bad... Be very afraid!

Alright, time to move on...

Today's Topic: He's back...

I thought he was gone for good. Everyone I talked to said it would never happen again...

I still get flashbacks.

Obviously, I'm talking about none other than... Bryan Singer!

AAAHHHHHHH!!!!! NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!

....

Yes, Singer is back in Marvel. The last time we saw him, he had backhanded Marvel and then run off with DC.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. For those who don't know who Singer is, let's take a look back...

*dream sequence*

• September 17, 1965: Bryan is born. World's collective IQ goes down.

• Bryan directs several films, most small time:

1988-Lion's Den

1993-Public Access

1995-The Usual Suspects

1998-Apt Pupil & Burn

• If anyone remembers these movies, tell me what they're about in the comment section. Usual Suspects won a few awards though, so I can't hate on that.

• In 2000, Bryan hits the big time. Directs X-Men. Makes more than all his other movies combined. Movie's actually not bad.

• It's 2003, and Bryan makes a summer blockbuster again. This time, it's X-Men 2. Bryan can now retire... His whole family...

• And then it happens. 2006, Bryan backhands Marvel. Leaves X-Men franchise, directs Superman Returns. Movie is hated by critics, makes an okay earning.

Above: Bryan Singer selling out.

• X-Men 3 is given to Brett Ratner, director of Rush Hour. Movie sucks a little less than Superman. Still makes more money.

• Bryan's reputation, having been crushed, keeps him from directing a new Battlestar Galactica movie.

• X-Men Origins: Wolverine makes a killing at the box office. Bryan dies a little on the inside.

• Today- Bryan Singer is granted the rights to direct X-Men: First Class.

Sadly, this is another prequel. To add an extra dose of sadness, Hugh Jackman will not be in this one.

NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!

So, to recap...

The X-Men franchise, which can make money without Bryan, is left without Jackman and thrown in the uncaring hands of Bryan Singer. A prequel on the horizon....

I'm out...

Excelsior....

Wait, so you're angry that Wolverine is NOT getting the spotlight? And aren't you being hypocritical here? You're ripping on Bryan for deciding to work on a DC movie and then a Marvel one, while Ryan Reynolds gets off doing both at the same time and is scot free? But that's okay, because he's playing your favorite DC character Green Lantern, while Singer worked on the 'overrated' Superman. Bryan, or any director/actor, have no loyalty to any comic brand and they shouldn't. Spread the good work across the movies. And get paid, of course.

Hey, this is my blog.If Christian Bale wants to make a Sentry movie, am I going to complain?Of course not. Same goes with Ryan (as long as he doesn't totally abandon Deadpool). As for Bryan, well he was schedule to direct and finish his X-Men trilogy. DC asked him to do Superman instead, and the guy jumps ship! It sickens me. As far as Wolverine... Well, he's getting too much attention, but you must admit that Hugh Jackman is an awesome Wolverine/Actor. Without him, who's left to fill the big movie star void? Hmm...
