Match 19323 Mako vs. Frozone

Masters of Evil

 

Previously: Kir Kanos had his team consisting of Leroy Green, Nick Gant, Bolin and Mako go against a band of villains that had just killed a police squad. After a Masters of Evil recruitment campaign, Vicious lead a small team- Ian Nottingham, Chin Nen, and Shiva to kill a police squad that had given his old Red Dragon crime network problems. The two teams engaged violently.

 

 

As of yet, no hostiles had revealed themselves. Frozone wasn’t disappointed. If things could go down without violence then it would be a good night.

When word of a super powered religious group came across his ear, Frozone donned his super suit and took to the streets. Nothing ever panned out but that didn’t mean he didn’t get closer and closer to finding these supers.

To be careful, he got himself some back up. Battlestar- a military trained Captain America protege. Good brotha but not the real deal though. Also Bill Foster- the Black Goliath. More of a scientist than a superhero but his growth ability would come in handy in a tight spot.

The two men agreed to support the veteran and his latest lead seemed to pan out.

Some low life supers were making some kind of hit. Frozone figured he could capture these chumps and find out who they were working for.

Something felt off about what he was seeing but Frozone had to deal with what was in front of him. Hitting a police precinct was unheard of.

“We’re going in right?” Battlestar asked.

“Sure we are.” said Frozone but he didn’t move.”

With increased anxiety, Battlestar urged him. “Today?”

The area exploded with action. Several fights were going on and low level super powers were evident.

“Bill,” he said to Black Goliath, “You and Battlestar go down there and see what you can disrupt. I’m going to nab one of them for questioning.”

 

 

 

Vicious knew that his team was outmatched. From what he could tell there was an earth bender, a fire bender, a low powered telekinetic, and a martial arts master. They didn’t have any flashy costumes which painted them as ametures. Shiva, Chin Nen and himself had the fighting in the bag but those powers were too much. Going back with their tails between their legs was no way to go to a man like Baron Zemo. A nice spin such as they accomplished their mission and then some super-powered interlopers came when it was over so they withdrew. The Masters of Evil could come back and hit them with more powerful assets.

When a second group of truly costumed vigilantes appeared on the scene, Vicious was intrigued and held back some to observe.

 

 

 

An unintended distraction drew the attention of Kir Kanos’ team. Two costumed adventurers came in hot, Bolin and Nick Gant their initial targets.

“What is going on!” Mako exclaimed. Their opponents were superior fighters except may for Leroy. He had to pull out all the stops just to stay in the game. This new development wasn’t needed.

“I think they called for backup.!” Nick Gant told him. He was protecting himself with a TK shield as Shiva was assaulting him.

“Where’s Kir?” Mako wondered.

“I don’t know.” Nick couldn’t afford to check around. “Hopefully he didn’t get taken out.”

As the newcomers got all the attention, the first two guys pulled out.

Mako tried to go after them but a third man dressed like an olympic skier stopped him with an ice wall.

“Outta the way pal!” Mako screamed as he blasted through the icewall with a flame ball.

Undeterred, Frozone put a sheet of ice under Mako’s feet causing him to slip. Pissed, Mako no longer wanted to get past him. He wanted to kick this guy’s ass.
