Megastory 10.11

Prevously: Galvatron joined with Vilgax in his quest for the Infinity Stones, intent on using them to destroy his master- Unicron. He called in Scourge to assist him. In retaliation, Uincron commanded Cyclonus to go and oppose him by joining with Quasar who would certainly be a blockade in Galavtron’s endeavors.

“What are you doing?” Cyclonus asked of Scourge. The two of them were back to back. Destroying Huztil automatons as they approached.

“You are working against the master!”

Scourge snarled a snippy response. “I am helping Galvatron, the mech whom Unicron set in command of us.”

“I have been instructed by the master himself to oppose Galvatron.” Cylonus countered.

“You know that neither of us are a match for him.” came Scourge’s chide. “Not even together.”

Cyclonus came right back. “I suggest you take it up with the master.”

Meanwhile, Galvatron was impressed with Quasar’s abilities. He expected no less from the protector of the universe, but still he was no Cybertronian.

For starters, Galvatron was much older therefore much more experienced. In his young Megatron days, he was sculpted into a primal warrior in the gladiator pits. Megatron then spent countless years refining battle strategy as he lead the Decepticons against the Autobots.

By the time Unicron got to him, Megatron had peaked. Only the dark god could elevate Magtron into the ultra terror that was Galvatron.

Quasar naturally relied upon his hard light constructs. He used them wisely, as distractions, armor, and weapons as necessary. Quickly though, Galvatron learned to stop focusing on the constructs and target the man.

No way could Quasar stand up to Galvtron’s strength. He enjoyed seeing the fear gloss over the human’s eyes when he realized that he was in trouble.

As battles raged; Galvatron battling Quasar, his lieutenants- Cyclonus and Scourge, bickering even as they destroyed Hutzils, Vilgax found peace in the chaos. He was focused. The first of the Infinity Stones was nearly within his grasp. He simply needed to find where on this world it was hidden.

Jockeying off of the scanners from his ship, he checked again and zeroed in on an anomaly. Some sort of pocket dimension. The Infinity Stone had to be hidden here.

A tachyon flare tended to break dimensional barriers and the one he had his ship shoot down did the trick. If anyone noticed his activities, Vilgax didn’t care. He stepped through the doorway and found himself in a dark chamber. It seemed more shaped than constructed and the material was like nothing in the universe.

The chamber was empty as far as he could see but there was an area unnaturally darkened. This is where the stone was.

As he approached, a new light began to flicker to his left. Something was coming out of the darkness. The creature was semi-humanoid, but horrifyingly shaped of incineration.

Vilgax felt two sensations; confirmation and satisfaction. Only something of importance would be stored here and of course, it would have a guardian.

Fight Parameters:

For possession of the Infinity Stone, Vilgax must defeat Blaze in mortal combat.
