Megastory 3.15

Masters of Evil story

 

Previously: In an attempt to destroy Khan Nooninen Sing and his organization, the United Nations sent in Stormwatch backed by the Robotech Defense Force. They were not aware that Khan had already been defeated by Baron Zemo and that Zemo was now absorbing Khan’s assets.

Zemo sent General Miles Mayhem along with the Marine Doomguy to oversee the takeover. Master Asia, who was running the training camp cooperated and they hunkered down as Stormwatch and the Robotech Defense Force attacked.

 

When the Mazinger Z mecha came onto the scene General Miles Mayhem started to see what was happening.

“What machine is this?” Master Asia grumbled.

“Mazinger Z.” Mayhem said angrily. “I told you Stormwatch doesn’t pussyfoot around! They’ve been baiting us! Making us think we can fight them off, all the while bringing more and more assets against us. All to keep us from withdrawing and escaping!”

“You think we are going to loose this training camp?” Master Asia asked.

“We are going to loose this training camp! And they’re going to catch us along with it! What evacuation method do you have?”

Asia hesitated.

“The longer you wait, the closer they get catching us? For all we know they’ve got a stealth team working their way here right now.”

“We have no intention of being driven from our own base.”

“Fine! Be a fool if you want to! I’m getting out of here!” He thumbed at Doomguy. “Marine, your with me.”

“Yes sir.” Doomguy followed him to the exit.

Outside, Stormwatch was doing what Mayhem had been suspecting. They were fighting their way to the inner bunkers where the leadership was sure to be.

Some members did remain outside, to support the Robotech Defense Force. The Gundams were more powerful but the REF had strategies to overcome them.

“Battalion, we’ve got activity! Looks like a getaway!”

one of the Veritech pilots announced.

Battlion had stayed outside to deal with the Gundams. They child soldiers that were piloting them were slightly enhanced but they were till vulnerable to telepathy.

While the Gundams were busy with the Veritechs and the later arriving Mazinger Z, Battalion targeted the pilots one by one and shut them down. The way they were fighting, it seemed like the enemy still didn’t understand what was happening.

He saw what the Veritech pilot was talking about. A purple helicopter was lifting up out of a hatch.

“Don’t let him get away!” Rick Hunter shouted. He had been shot down by one of the Gundams but survived as continued to supervise his pilots from the ground.

“Dont’ worry, Rick!” soft voice spoke up. “I’ ve got him!”

“Max!” Rick replied. “Capture! Don’t do him in!”

Ace pilot Max Sterling smirked. “No problem!”

Even as he said it, the purple helicopter amazingly transformed into a jet fighter and shot away.

In hot pursuit, Max mumbled to himself. “Still not a problem.”

 

Fight Parameters:

 

Max must catch Miles Mayhem’s Switchblade, gently shoot it down and capture Miles Mayhem.
