You've got a real roundabout way of thinking. Yes, you did miss the point, because you're still harping on about the Dragons and whether or not they exist outside of the balls. Do you have evidence of the dragons not being able to materialize without the balls being used? Aside from Shenron not showing up again after the Black Star balls were rendered inert, because that's ridiculous reasoning. He never showed up again because he was never called. Again, I'm gonna lay it out for you, plain and simple, and if you don't get it this time I'm not gonna bother trying again. The original post said Superman must fight every character from the Dragon Ball franchise at once. Shenron, Porunga and Ultimate Shenron are characters from the Dragon Ball franchise. Hence: they are in this matchup, regardless of balls. Following the word of the original poster-- the one who created this match and defines its stipulations-- is jumping to conclusions? Yeah, sure, whatever you say.

You completely missed my point. The Dragons exist somewhere in the universe without the Balls, they're just summoned by them. The OP does not mention anything about the balls being required to summon them, he simply said "Superman battles all the characters from the Dragon Ball franchise". Now, last time I checked, Shenron, Porunga and Ultimate Shenron were all characters in the Dragon Ball franchise.

Gonna be honest here. TOO LAZY, DID NOT READ, THAT WAS A MASSIVE POST, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU. I'm not really debating for either side, but it was a thought. And yeah, the reason I mentioned the Shenrons and Porunga was that they could be used to glean 'n supply the weaknesses. Perhaps. Although, I will say that you misinterpreted my meaning when I said "a universe full of people". Dunno 'bout you lot, but around here saying a place is "full of" something equates to saying it's got plenty of people who are the proverbial something. Not that everybody there is a something. Jeez. And yes, they're consistently idiots throughout the series BUT... maybe Akira Toriyama just wasn't smart enough to adequately display their sheer brilliance. Or something.

You seem to be under the impression that this is just the Z-Fighters and the villains vs Superman. It's the entire universe-- a universe full of people who know about and are willing to operate the Dragon Balls. And honestly, I doubt they'll be able to keep villains away because they'll be too busy getting their asses kicked. Besides, even if it were just the Z-Fighters? You'd still be incorrect. They don't just fall in line behind Goku, and someone like Piccolo is not gonna stand by and watch the prideful Saiyans get everybody else destroyed for the sake of a fair fight. He could easily grab the balls (dohohohoho) and go make a wish himself. And another thing, on that note - why do they need the balls? This is EVERY character in the Dragon Ball universe versus Superman. Shenron, Porunga and Black Star Shenron are characters in the Dragon Ball universe. Wouldn't they be opposed to Superman as well? Wouldn't they be willing to use their wish-granting powers to defeat him? Seems likely to me. And Ballerju, Silver Age Superman never sneezed away a universe, that'd be ridiculous. He sneezed away a solar system. Much less silly. And I've read a good portion of 50s-60s Superman stuff and I don't remember telepathy or precognition, myself. If everybody in the Dragon Ball universe just threw themselves at Superman then yeah, he'd crush them. But if they're actually smart about it (and I use the term "smart" loosely, this isn't exactly rocket science), the possibility of victory is there. Out-of-the box thinking is not a bad thing.

Matches you won't get a chance to do

What overrated characters did you have lined up, out of curiosity? -
Good ole Monty Python.

Eh. Misremembered, I guess. Yeah, I question his sanity if he was being literal. The Midgard Serpent was something like twice the length of Earth, I'd imagine that's a tad more "unwieldy" than a skyscraper-sized monster. A sheer contest of strength is literally the only sort of conflict they had, though, aside from the one hit I mentioned earlier. It's almost like the writers were doing everything in their power to keep Thor from confronting Godzilla directly. He's got a lot more going for him than sheer strength.

I don't think Blade is durable or overall powerful enough to compete with Scorpion's versatility. Worst comes to worst, Scorpion opens up a portal to the Netherrealm and boots Blade through.
-
He really didn't. I've read the issues. Thor landed one hit, Godzilla felt "pain like he had never felt before", then later he stopped Godzilla from pushing over a building by pushing in the other direction. Because that is how physics works. Besides, that was Classic Thor. Current Thor is quite a bit more powerful.

I was talking about the scans where Batroc took on the Avengers. -
So we have a horse-sized duck with a burning hatred for me and wanton children and a pathological fear of jelly babies... versus a hundred duck-sized horses with a burning hatred for me and wanton children and a pathological fear of jelly babies. Hmm... the horses.

I'd just like to say that those scans are inane and PIS-ridden. "My arrows need more room"? Really? -
How frenzied are the opposing creatures?

Xavier was aged and balding in Origins. He was like 30ish when he got crippled in First Class.
-
To be fair, I don't think the diamond-skinned Emma was ever identified as Frost. Another continuity issue was Professor X. Crippled in First Class, walks in for his Wolverine cameo. First Class was my favorite X-Men film, and probably one of my favorite Marvel films on the whole, but it didn't pay a whole lot of attention to continuity.
