  1. Ratchet's priority would be saving as many people as possible, in this case that means winning the match. Because once the match is over Nemesis is gonna stop his rampage. Either because it's pointless or because he'll be magically pulled out of the scenario.
  2. Generally speaking Ollie is gonna have more experience with wilderness survival and hunting. Which should come in handy. Also yeah, if they have gear, Green Arrow has some many more options for winning than Nightwing.
  3. Ratchet is a trained medic. He will understand the need to triage, which in this case means that finishing the race will save the most lives. If he does have to face Nemesis it's worth remembering he has thrown down with Megatron and will have back up from local and federal authorities, oh and probably eventually the turtles themselves. Who he can give the pizzas too once they've joined forces and beat Nemesis Prime. At this point it kinda feels like we've inadvertently written the pitch for a Transformers/TMNT crossover.
  4. The events a Deadmans Wonderland leave competitors maimed or dead and the winner has to be comfortable with that happening. Jason may be one of the most brutal members of the Bat Family, but even he doesn't currently have the kill or be killed mentality to do as well in this environment as Balrog.
  5. Because that's gonna force him to deal with everything from angry New Yorkers to the NYPD, which is like the 20th largest armed force in the world, and eventually the national guard. New York is not gonna sit idle while a big rig plows through the streets. Ratchet on the other hand just has to turn on the siren and go.
  6. Okay so the animal knows they are being hunted and by whom and are first on the mountain and neither prepped ahead of time for Everest?
  7. So the hunter has prepped for months to hunt the animal on Mt. Everest specifically or has prepped for hunt in general and the hunt has taken them to Mt Everest?
  8. Ok, but if that's the case Mikey has already been on Everest for a while. Which is gonna give Michelangelo a bit of home field advantage. If Morlun has been prep for a hunt on Everest for months, it means Mikey has been their for months. If on the other hand Morlun, prepped for a hunt and chased him to Everest. It means he didn't prep for the mountain specifically and that Mikey has. Had time from the chase to learn about him.
  9. I don't think Everest has as many caves as a lot of mountains, but it does have crevasses, and a lot of trash and corpses and other things to hide among. Per the set up, they have been playing cat and mouse. So Mikey knows what he's facing.
  10. Everest does have some caves and crevasses. Also he can hide in snow or blend in with hikers.
  11. The set up doesn't specify who gets prep, it does say it picks up after a cat and mouse chase. Which means both sides have been dealing with each other. It also it where the hunter has tracked the animal too. Which means the animal has been on Everest longer. As for hiding and evading Everest does have caves, crevasses, snow drifts, hikers, base camp etc and is freaking huge.
  12. Mikey may not be Spidy, but again he doesn't even have to be at Morlun in a fight. Just stay ahead of him and they've both had months to learn about each other and given the set up. Mikey has seemingly spent more time in the terrain.
  13. Is he? The turtles spend a ton of time being sneaky and evasive. They are ninjas after all.
  14. Does Morlun have a prep advantage? The scenario says after months of prep the hunter has has tracked the animal to mount Everest. That could well imply prep on both sides or that while the hunter prepped the hunt, but the animal has had more time in the location.
  15. I wasn't downplaying Morlun or Spider-Man. I was pointing out that we shouldn't underestimate Mikey and that Mikey doesn't have to win the fight. Just escape and evade.
  16. Morlun has been dropped by Spiderman, so no he's not.
  17. A stretch or two, if their is some ( and I don't see any 🙂), is not a bad thing when facing a toon. Normal logic need not apply.
  18. I think we need to clear up a couple of misconceptions. 1. The idea that ACME products don't work or are prone to failure, in general. Is not entirely accurate. Most of the problems, that arise from there uses. Is because of the users. on top of that their are a number of real life ACME companies, whose products work fine and the scenario prompt doesn't actually specify which ACME company. 2. That Bugs Bunny can't lose. Bugs has lost several times over the years Such as here to a live action version of the U.S military. Or here against a gremlin like alien in yellow. Or here against a cartoon hunter in an opera. Bossk is all of these things. He works for a live action military force, but because of clone wars and the like he is also gremlin looking cartoon alien in yellow, and because Star Wars is at this point the quintessential space opera and Bossk debuted in the dark middle chapter he also has operatic hunter on lock down. Infact of all the hunters in the tournament Bossk may have the best chance of beating bugs. Also, also ACME sells paint products. Which means Bossk should be able to recreate the Dip, from Roger Rabbit which was capable of killing toons like Bugs, who was in said movie.
  19. I would say scaling the turtles to each other makes sense. Which is why I'm leaving this here. It's Mikey getting up after having a building dropped on him. https://www.reddit.com/r/RTvideos/comments/fk0tui/tmnt/
  20. @RakaiThwei thanks for repping Mikey. As for the match. I think folks need to remember that Mikey doesn't need to beat Morlun. He just needs to stay ahead of him, but as Rakai's vids and the one above show. Even if things get physical Mikey can keep up at least long enough to get away and evade. Spiderman has beat Morlun several and as demonstrated the 1987 Turtles can avoid gun fire at close range, break metal, and tank a building being dropped on them. Between that and Mikey's skill he should be fine.
  21. That's not what the scenario is though. It just says "who can create the better dancing robot". Nothing about about what kind of robot and once again you are counting Rover a vehicle. If vehicles count Seven has made those. Seven also programmed basically perfect holo replicas of the crew and can dance. So even if she's not the robotics engineer Pym is ( and frankly it wouldn't matter, because she has synth schematics and a replicator on hand ) she is clearly more successful at programming and dance. Which are going to be just as important in this scenario.
  22. You're counting a flying smart car, so why not Holoprograms or starships. Again wether they count by themselves, depends on how you define robot. Even if they don't all Seven has to do is replicate a synth body and add one of the thousands of dance programs the Federation has stored. It's something she could do with the computer and appliances, she has in quarters.
  23. We all know if Pym tried to build a dancing robot. It would rebel and become anti-dancing tyrant, creating "Footloose" Earth. If we are counting the likes of Rover than Seven helping program the Voyager and Delta Flyer computers should count as well. Seven has also programmed Holoprograms which use advanced AI and may well count as robots, depending on how you define it. She also has access to Federation database which will have the schematics for building synths, all she'd have to do is add a holo program of a historic dancing master.
  24. He only managed to build Rover after a mental breakdown and he still has no displayed interest or aptitude in dance.
