13:7 - The Locust Horde vs. 199 Heroes (Super Sentai)
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
The 199 definitely have more experience in general, but they probably lose this cause gun fighting is one of the specialties that the Locust Horde has to offer. Unfortunate pull for them. -
I agree. Complete disregard for human life actually somehow gives Christine the win here.

13:7 - Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz vs. Lloyd Asplund
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
You know, I was certain that Doofenshmirtz could create more grandiose things than Lloyd, to the point where Lloyd could not possible commit. But Lloyd would in fact do Doof's inventions better. Cause they wouldn't have a self destruct button. That's it. That's the only reason. He improves on all of them massively. -
13:7 - Marvin the Paranoid Android vs. The Red Queen
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
I do think Red Queen would try her darndest, but I believe the Marvin would actually succeed in fixing the problem. I'm surprised he lost his last fight since I believe it centered around the same challenge. -
13:7 - Lightning McQueen vs. Optimus Prime
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
Narrow and slippery tracks are Lightning McQueen forte yes, but again, Rainbow Road is the one racing track that I'm aware of in the pool where combatants are allowed to use weapons. I don't know if Optimus would opt for that per say, he's too much of a nice man-bot-thing, but it's not a surefire win for Lightning cause just cause he's a racer. -
I don't think the Wintergreen has the ability to rehabilitate the Djinn. Unfortunate pull for him here.

You guys might be right about Shuri based on assumptions, but we know for a fact that Mordin is a big fan of theater and singing. I think he's the more likely candidate for me based on that.

13:7 - Master Chief vs. Kool-Aid Man
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
You need a cheery disposition to sell a house. That's what families care about when they see a realtor. As long as this house has a pool, some shmuck four person family will buy it from the Kool-Aid Man. -
13:7 - Doctor Neo Cortex vs. The Tenth Doctor
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
Doctor Neo Cortex created Crunch Bandicoot, and that guy is a definite monster. -
If I recall correctly Roadkill kinda has bad armor for a Twisted Metal car, so he should be outclassed by Herbie who is a genuine race car and actually has some good driving records behind him for a change. He has this.

13:7 - Din Djarin vs. Fox McCloud
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
I think Fox McCloud has an advantage over Din Djarin in terms of speed, agility, and aerial combat. His Arwing is faster and more maneuverable than Din’s Razor Crest, and his blaster and reflector can counter Din’s ranged attacks. Fox also has more experience in fighting against different enemies and environments. Din Djarin, on the other hand, has an advantage over Fox McCloud in terms of durability, firepower, and stealth. His beskar armor can withstand most of Fox’s attacks, and his weapons and gadgets can deal more damage and surprise Fox. If this is a dogfight, Fox shits on the Mandalorian. If it's not, Mandalorian *has* a chance, but he's also been knocked down by lesser. He has 60/40 chance. If one is in a ship, and the other one isn't, the one in the ship wins (obviously). -
13:7 - Ghost of Christmas Past vs. The Crypt Keeper
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
I wish everyone thought as you, but the truth is that the normal human being probably would not do this. -
13:7 - The Machine (Person of Interest) vs. GLaDOS
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
Based on this, I think the obvious choice is GLaDOS. I did find something about an Ice-9 virus used in the Person of Interest show. Wonder if that can be used by the Machine somehow to get to GLaDOS? -
13:7 - Willy the Hillbilly vs. Mario
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
I don't think a Hillbilly would do the job. He'd do his best, but he won't do it better than Mario. -
Tour Guide Barbie should be enough to edge it out I would think. Downplay it's negative aspects like horror, violence and danger. Talk about good and nice things, like it's history, the culture of the place and the serene scenery.

It says months of prep time. With prep time, Lobo managed to create a way to kill his entire race which have regeneration as potent as his. The way I see it, with prep time Po doesn't even see Lobo coming. He just dies.

I think Taskmaster has this. Ripper Roo can't really convince anyone of anything on the basis of being insane. It's doubtful that he'd try to, as well.

It's a fair assessment to make that things travel differently in space when compared to a place with atmosphere in bound (Superman has this limitation (sometimes), and I know for a fact Gigan, King Ghidorah, MOGUERA and SpaceGodzilla travel way faster in space than in atmosphere so as to not burn it and cause total human destruction.) I think it's fair to say if something hasn't showcased the ability to do it, it very well can't. As long as it's not taken to it's logical extreme of course (people that aren't showcased eating in media have no need for food at all)

13:7 - Bulma vs. Unstoppable Wasp (Nadia Van Dyne)
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
Bulma's inventions are more focused on exploration and discovery, while Nadia's inventions are more focused on fighting and justice. Bulma’s inventions are usually larger and more complex, while Nadia’s inventions are usually smaller and more versatile. If they were to compete in Battlebots, I think Nadia Van Dyne would have an advantage, because she has more experience in combat and can use her Pym Particles to change the size and speed of her robot. Bulma might have more creative and innovative ideas, but she would have to adapt to the rules and limitations of the Battlebots arena. Therefore, I would say Nadia makes the better Battle Bot. -
Rodimus is definitely faster, maybe less agile (Spider-Mobile can scale walls), more durable, more resilient, more versatile and more adaptable. I think he has this.

13:7 - Donatello (1987) vs. Beast
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
I think that Beast would have a slight edge over Donatello in a science fair. Beast has more experience and expertise in scientific research and innovation, as well as a broader knowledge of various disciplines. He also has more charisma and persuasion skills, which could help him attract more attention and funding. Donatello is not far behind, though. He is very creative and resourceful, and he could use his inventions and engineering skills to impress the judges and the audience. He is also more humble and friendly, which could make him more likable and relatable. Of course, this is just my opinion based on the information I have. Both Donatello and Beast are amazing scientists and heroes, and they could both put on a great show. It's funny to me how the two characters competing here are two characters absolutely despised by the people of their respective shows (the TMNT I think are disliked by the New York masses, while Beast is hated due to being a mutant). -
13:7 - Iron Man vs. Ant-Man (Hank Pym)
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
Perhaps he wants to take the funding away from Hank, because he's a jerk! -
I've only played 1 and 4. 1 is terrible. 4 pleasantly surprised me.

13:6 - Sportsmaster vs. Black Panther
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
Even without items, Sportsmaster is more hindered than Black Panther is. -
13:6 - Ippo Makunouchi vs. Wildcat
Macklemore replied to UMPIRE's topic in CBUB Fantasy Draft Matches
Pretty sure that Wildcat can go between Orthodox and Southpaw stances so that should give him the advantage over Ippo. Ippo might hit harder (in theory at least, Wildcat definitely punches above his weight class more often than Ippo does, and at a bigger level of magnitude), but he's also less confident and assertive than Wildcat. I think Wildcat has this.
