  1. Good luck everyone! I'm afraid I have to sit this one out 😔
  2. Do we have a specific draft order, or is it just everyone pick at once?
  3. Got no idea how this works, but I'm in.
  4. Opening the letter, it was evident it was just a common letter, no spells or illusions masking the original message. "Drondos, I see you sent out one of your little adventuring crews to bother me and the girls. Hope many times do I have to tell you, the only way we will stop is if you stop leaving the damn toilet seat up! It's hard enough as it is being a women in today's time, only to come home and find the seat up. It's not hard to put down! Fix this, and I'll consider disbanding our group and coming back to you. Until then, you know where to find us. Love, Bertha."
  5. Having failed to realize that the bandit was actually allergic to fish, Muggy was unfortunately left hanging. And so, the party began to venture back to Eastrun, eager to report their discoveries to Drondos. Perhaps now they would be upgraded to Silver ranked adventurers, and not just lowly Copper rank. The walk back to Eastrun was fairly quiet, as they were no reported sightings of enemies in the road back to the city. Taking the road would always allow them to travel faster than cutting through the forest, plus it was many degrees safer.
  6. Big Bertha eyed the travelers quietly, thinking. "Well...as it currently stands I have 15 of us standing guard outside the door, try anything and you all die." She explained, while the other bandits smacked their swords on their shields as a show of force. "However..." She continued, "If you were to perform a simple task for me, I'll consider yer request." Bertha dug into her sizable cleavage, and retrieved a crumpled up letter. "My ex husband lives in Eastrun, give him this, you will have no reason to return. If he does what is asked of him, I will know." A sad look slowly manifested in her face, covering the original anger.
  7. Bertha looked at him, carefully collecting her thoughts. "If yer question is have we actually murdered someone, the answer is no. If someone we beat later dies of their wounds, than that ain't our fault we take what we want to survive, and that's dat." She slams her hand on the table in front of her, fury in her eyes. "Is that a threat her making there boy? You come inta our camp and threaten us?!" She barked. The atmosphere in the room changed, and Bertha's voice showed it. Four more armed guards rushed to the door, to see what the commotion was about. Her anger caused her to completely disregard Clara and Farley's attempt at peace, Bertha was not going to let some man come into their camp and make veiled threats. OOC: Roll fail IC: The redheaded bandit looked at with disgust, surprising a gag. "I'm allergic to fish..." She muttered, before slowly moving closer to the other guards who walked into the gate.
  8. The party walked in to Big Bertha's hut. There, at her desk, sat Big Bertha. A beast of a woman, almost 7 feet tall it surprising that she is full human and no mixed with giant. Around her papers were scattered all over the desk, Berth had on a pair of spectacles analyzing the paperwork, being a bandit did have some measure of paperwork to be done. She glanced at the party and scowled. "What did I say of bringing in travelers unannounced?" She barked at her subordinates, frustration straining her big face. "Boss, these people want to speak with you," one of the bandit s explained, "They have some sort of proposition for us, looks like they don't quite approve of us beating up people and stealing their money for fun." Bertha stared at the party, it was clear that she was thinking, as if a tiny hamster was running on a wheel inside her head, each thought calculated and cunning. "What exactly do you have in mind?" Bertha asked them, the question aimed at no one in particular.
  9. "I dunno Mr. Turtle, we go what we do because Big Bertha orders us around. We just hates living where we did. It's easy out here, you don't have to do chores all day, you can beat up men," She glared at Corvo, "And it's pretty relaxing, once you get past the whole mugging people y'know?"
  10. 0 out of 5! "Dark tan"? My makeup says "Light Honey", so, honey, you got that part wrong *snaps fingers*
  11. *How come you never stroke me like she just did to that overgrown turtle?* Jessamine complained.
  12. OOC: @Hugo Fowl rolled a 3+6, @The Boob Tube rolled a 6. Average DC of 10... Bad luck on that one. However, @SSJRuss rolled a 10!! IC: The bandit turned to Corvo, "Listen buddy, you better stop mansplaining before we kick your ass like we did to that perverted cat." She gestured to his private parts, implying that they're going to be chopping them off In their rage, the completely disregarded Clara. However, once they saw Farley, the bigger bandit's eyes lit up. "OH! A cute turtle! I used to have one just like you when I was a wee lass!" The bandit exclaimed, nostalgia in her voice. She dropped her sword and ran up to Farley, stroking his bald turtle head. "Who's the goodest turtle?" She asked, cooing him as she caressed his scalp. "What can momma do for the widdle turtle and his widdle friends?" The bandit would ask.
  13. As the trio walks up to the door, 3 armed bandits met them at the entrance. 2 of them with blades and shields, the other one with a greatsword. Eyeing the members of the party up and down, the one with the larger blade spoke first. "You're lucky you have a women with you, or we would've strung you up by the nads you filthy male." She utters, words full of venom and disgust. The other girl spits in the floor, while her friend cracks her knuckles. "What hell do you..." She starts, before suddenly stopping. "Wait a minute... You're all wearing the same badge as that annoying ass cat that flashed us earlier!" The bandits draw their weapons, finger on the proverbial trigger. "Come back for more huh?"
  14. Thanks to his winged form, Corvo was able to provide a bird's eye view perspective of the enemies camp. A standard camp, surrounded by walls to the sides. There are two main openings, one to the east and one to the south. The the West, the camp is surrounded by hills and cliffs, all around the camp are trees and bushes. Luckily, the watchtower was unoccupied, so he was not spotted. There are many tents, sleeping areas for the bandits. One main hut, which belonged to Big Bertha.
  15. OOC: Gotcha, I'm just updating so you guys do something hehe
  16. As they are still in the forest, there are an abundance of trees for Cliff to hide in. Muggy pulls out a torch, it being morning time and all, there is little need for the torch. Perhaps he has other ideas in mind?
  17. OOC: Dang autocorrect changed Cliff to Griff, sorry! IC: Covering the distance to the camp both by ground and by air the crew arrived relatively quickly. The camp was not that large, all things considered, surrounded by a palliside walls on all sides. Stopping at approximately 100 feet away, they are able to get a good eye at the defenses of the camp. It does not appear that there are any perimeter defenses, this can be attributed to the over confidence of the bandit members.
  18. It has been a rough few days for our adventuring team. Not a week has passed and a member has already been lost, worse is the fact that she was fell not to an enemy's blade, but a comrade's instead. The world of Belleterra will surely miss Elbine, the mysterious Tabaxi. Remembered as a person of many mysteries, and little answers, she will go down in history as the very first fatality of Squad C. She was buried in an unmarked grave sixty miles West of Eastrun. The party member Farley made sure that on top of Elbine's deceased body, was the photograph she had on her that showed her during a rare happy time. A young Elbine and her adopted mother smiling, true happiness in their eyes. And so passed a solemn night in the world of Belleterra. It is now the next morning, the birds are chirping, and the sun is shining down on our party. Griff and Muggy made sure to keep a constant watch going through the night, to ensure no more harm could come to the party. Clara and Farley mourned their lost companion. Corvo spent the night in his tent, contemplating the meaning of life, and what it means to do the right thing. It is a new day, and today they should finally handle the original mission, to investigate the bandit camp reported to have been attacking and robbing innocent men. The party lies approximately 10 miles north east of the bandit's camp.
  19. *Oh my sweet baby boy, of course you did the right thing. Would you rather let anyone else be in danger, when you're powerful enough to stop it, you sexy hunk?* The blade reassured him, to her keeping Corvo safe was her first priority.
  20. OOC: Hugo is now level 2, he got XP from killing IKA. Feel free to roleplay amongst yourselves
  21. OOC: I'm imagining him sounding like Korg from Thor Ragnarok.
  22. *GODS IT FEELS GOOD TO KILL! I'm all tingly and covered in fur and blood, make sure to give me a good cleaning later, I've been a filthy girllllll* Corvo's blade communicated with him telepathically.
  23. You now have in your possession a ball of yarn in mint condition. One shiny blue pebble, one shiny red pebble, and one dull purple pebble. A spare Guild Badge.
  24. You find a ball of yarn, slightly used. A couple of shiny pebbles. A picture of a young Elbine with her foster mother. A copper Adventurer's Guild badge. A small pocket book labeled "How to make friends for dummies". That's is all.
