Year 1995. Ghostbusters Firehouse:

Egon sat at his table tinkering with the proton packs trying to upgrade them more. He turned and reached into a box full of old junk. Then he turned back to the proton pack. He was about to screw in a nail when the alarm went off. Egon jumped causing the screw to shove in wrong, and the pack blew dust out of it and into Egon's face. He sighed and wiped it off. Then he jumped out of his chair, and ran for the pole. He slid down it and suited out. He got in Ecto-1, and saw Peter, Ray, and Winston. "Finally" Peter said with a smile. Ray started the car, and slammed his foot on the gas pedal sirens blazing.

Crimescene in New York:

Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were staring down at a brutally torn body. There was blood all over the grass surrounding the body. "What do you think Dana?" Fox asked Dana. "I don't know, but the man's friend kept screaming ghost" Dana replied. The two turned when they heard sirens. The car did a quick parralel park on the curb. "Who's that?" Dana whispered to Fox. "It's the Ghostbusters" Fox replied with a frown. The Ghostbusters hopped out the car, and walked up towards Fox and Dana.

"Hello officers. You may now leave for the Ghostbusters have arrived" Ray announced. "So" Dana replied. "So leave" Peter said to her. "Listen we were here first you are the ones that should leave" Fox said angrily. "If you don't let us in we'll force ourselves in" Peter said. "Try" Fox said. Peter smiled and simply walked around the two detectives. "Hey!" Dana yelled angrily. "I said I would, and I did" Peter said. Fox and Dan quickly jumped in front of the door. "You're not getting in there" Dana said. Winston sighed in the back.

Outside the crimescene:

Scooby and the gang were driving to see family when they saw Fox and Dana arguing with the Ghostbusters. "Like who owns that car?" Shaggy asked. "It says on the side Ghostbusters" Velma said. Fred smiled. "If the Ghostbusters are there that means ghosts are there" Fred said. Fred quickly turned into the house's drive-way. "Great who's this" Fox mumbled. The Scooby Gang jumped out of their van. "Hello we were driving to see a family member when we saw the Ghostbusters" Fred said to them. "That would be us" Egon said stepping foward. "I think we got that" Shaggy said. "We were wondering if we could assist you" Fred asked. "No can do. We're not even letting the Ghostbusters in" Dana said. "See Fred they don't want us here let's go" Shaggy said walking towards the van. Then a blue ghost flew out of the house.

 "Voger is near!" the ghost roared. Ray quickly fired his proton pack at the ghost. Peter threw down the trap, and trapped the ghost. "Amazing" Velma said. "Thank you" Winston said with a smile. "Wait who's Vigor?" Fox asked. "I've got it!" Ray said happily. "Got what?" Egon asked. "Whoever can figure out who Vigor is, and trap him can be the official para-normal experts of New York" Ray said. "That sounds like a great idea" Daphne said. "I suppose" Fox said. "Then it's settled" Winston said. Fox and Dana got in their car. The Ghostbusters got in theres. Then Velma walked to the back of the van. She opened it, and opened a door on the bottom the room in the back. Underneath was small pistols. "These guns are similar to what the Ghostbusters use" Velma said. "When did you make these?" Fred asked. "I have lots of free time" Velma replied. "Well gang we have another mystery on our hands" Fred said. "Roinks" Scooby said.

Aside from the fact that Fox and Scully were slightly out of character and would merely have to show their FBI badge and have the ghostbusters escorted off the premise, the match was good.

 

Since you showed their was a ghost, this match goes to the Ghostbusters easily.

 

The X-file team is good with dealing with Government conspirecy's, and normal/abinormal crimes, but they have yet to face off against something like Gozer.

 

As for Mystery Inc., granted, they due have some experince facing SOME paranormal things (most of the new cartoon movies along with the two live action Scooby Doo movies prove this), but, like Fox and Scully, their experinces in this area are woefully under par. 9 out of ten times, the ghost/ghoul is a person in a suit which, according the the set up, they aren't dealing with. They last longer then Fox and the FBI, but in the end, the Ghostbusters win this without destroying too much of New York...

 

Though they tour New York in the Statue of Liberty once more, Rocking out...

Awesome mash up of three teams. In the end though, I have to go with the GB's on this one. I mean, they have more firepower than the other two teams.
