Hmm I think you might be right. Unless of course that aura can protect against the insane amount of radiation coming her way.

Y’all do realize that Yang does have long range options right?

Here’s Yang punching a giant bird out of the sky.

And here’s her blasting a group of Beowulfs from a distance.

Here’s her keeping her distance while fending off two opponents at once.

And her shooting Neon out of the air.

So it’s not like she needs to get close to Blight to put him down. Also Aura in the RWBY verse is specifically said to act as a force field that surrounds the person’s entire body and protects them from all forms of damage including extreme temperatures. In Volume 6 we see Yang and the others walking through a snowstorm in the mountains of Anima with thin clothing and showing no signs of discomfort from the freezing temperatures. This shows that Aura can protect Yang from Blight’s radiation at least for a while.

Ah yes, Yang does have distance options. Been a while since I've seen some RWBY. Given that, she could win.
