Aurora can dance with a cloak full of woodland critters. Pretty sure she will clean up in Tango and Salsaing without a problem.

This sort of dance is high energy and high intensity. Much more in line with Rapunzel's personality.

Also the "kingdom dance" from Tangled is a lot closer to this style of dance than anything in Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel initiated said dance she wasn't just a passive participate.

Aurora is hardly passive on this front. She sets up the fantasy dance. Phillip just happens to jump in. It reeks of Spontaneity.

 

and as Briar Rose she is the OG no shoes free spirited princess.
