Tom, who isn't blue, is tired of his cousin being blue and so they decide to fight! The stakes, if Tom wins the Blue Flame will no longer be blue, but if Blue Flame wins Tom must become blue.

The real story

Somewhere in the world, on the isle of Themyscira, live a race of women known as the amazons. They are beautiful, and brutal, female warriors with great power. But few outsiders know they exist. Very rarely do warriors offer themselves to the amazons. But on this day, two of the most skilled women in all the universe have come to join the ranks of the amazon warriors. But only one can join. As a test, the two have been put against one and other in combat. The rules are simple - whoever wins becomes an amazon. The battle will be decided by KO, surrender, or death. The two women start in the arena, but the fight can go anywhere on the island.

Emerald would fire an arrow in response. The two arrows would collide in the air, with Emerald's cutting about half way through Emma's before it's momentum stopped and the arrows fell to the ground.

This would hurt her eyes like looking straight at the sun to long and she have to close her eyes or risk going blind. The light right in front of her eyes would be the same size of Emerald's eyes and if Emerald tried looking away the light would follow staying right in front of her eyes.

 

As Emerald is side tracked with Emma light attack, Em would quickly running away however making almost no sound at all, she able to do this because of her training with Artemis. After she was away's away from her opponent she hide behind a pillar. She sit down and sing a lullaby under her breath using her magic of healing with the song. Her cracked collar bone would heal and she be slightly winded from her using so much energy to perform the spell. After she was healed she looked around the pillar at Emerald to see what she is doing. Emma makes sure to only peek her eyes out from behind the pillar.

Emerald would quickly close her eyes. She knew what Emma was capable of and knew this light had to be her doing. She also couldn't let Emma get too far away from her. Her first act was to get rid of the blinding light. She spoke the word, "Ganga," while envisioning the light. This sent the magic light away from her eyes, but also just so happened to cause the hidden light to go as well.

 

It only took a couple of seconds, giving Emerald enough time to spot Emma taking cover behind the pillar. Emerald had no idea what Emma was doing, but she didn't want to give her time to plan. Again she said, "Ganga." This time, she used the spell to push Emma's head back.

 

For Emma, this would be like if someone pushed her head full force. Being unprepared for it, for how could she expect this type of attack from this distance, would cause the push to be that much more effective. If this move was successful, Emma would be most likely knocked out with the back of her head hitting either the pillar or the ground. Either way, she wouldn't have enough time to sing her song.

 

Emerald's breath would be heavy at this point, and sweat would be forming on her brow. Doing her best to figure out the angel - she was good with numbers from her travels with the Doctor after all - she would pick a spot to stand it that would be out of Emma's line of vision unless she peeked out from behind the pillar enough to be attacked. Her bow was at the ready.

It helped a little but Emma's head hurt really bad and she vision was blurry lucky because she was using her magic of healing, the magic begin to heal her head keeping her from being knocked out. She used her magic of healing not needing to sing the full song and her head would heal taking stamina away from Emma. Then she healed her cracked collar bone and she be slightly winded from her using so much energy to perform the spell. Emma would turn herself invisible and quietly move out from behind the pillar seeing Emerald she came up with a simply plan. She took her time so it be almost impossible for Emerald to hear her movements and she fire a invisible arrow towards Emerald's head with masterful aim. If Emerald somehow dodged Emma would move and would fire a other arrow which would also be a invisible arrow but this would be a exploding arrow.

OOC: I don't think so. The way magic works in Percy Jackson is different. It's the music that heals. But it's not that big of a deal, I just brought it up because that's how I think it works. I'll go with her not getting KOed.

 

Emerald hear the familiar sound of the bow string releasing the arrow. She didn't know exactly where the arrow would be coming from, but could tell the generally direction. She rolled to the side and spoke the word, "Ganga!" once again, it didn't matter that she couldn't see Emma, she just envisioned Emma's bow. The weapon would be hit with the same force as if Emerald had kicked it from Emma's hand. And since Emerald knew the arm Emma held her bow with, she knew witch driection to push it so it would hit at the weakest point of her grip, where Emma's thumb met her fingers.

 

Unless she could hold of, it would be sent flying from her grip, before she could fire the second arrow. And once the bow left Emma, it would also leave the area of bent light, which Emerald was watching carefully for. Even of Emma quickly bent light around the bow, Emerald should catch a flash of the bow and that was all she needed.

 

Seeing bow would tell her where Emma was. Emerald threw two kunai knives. The first was thrown up in the air, nearly straight up. The second was thrown at the first and hit so that it impact the other at an angle to send it straight for Emma. Right after throwing the knives she'd drop to one knee, trying to recover as quickly as she could and think of a way to end this.

Emma let her bow go flying, and watched as Emerald threw the two Kunai Knifes. She wasn't going to stand still, nor ignore the fact Emerald used a similar trick like this before. With her reflexes she would dodge to the side however she get cut on the side of her arm. It hurt but it wasn't serious. She send out her bending light field a little more so it would cover the bleeding of the cut. She move towards Emerald summoning her bow back to her hand, then fire a arrow, that which would explode with fire when it got close to Emerald. She cover it with the light field but really this attack was to get her to focus on Emma's arrow. And she would spin just in case she sent the arrow back at her. Then Emma would throw one of her hunting knifes at Emerald's skull with great skill, covering the knife with a bending light field.

 

OOC: The bow can appear, and disappear at the own's wish, she made it reappear back in her hand.

As the battle progressed it slowly dawned on Emerald that Emma, a girl who was once her friend and ally, wasn't in this for sport, or for competition, or to test her abilities. No, Emma was determined to win this and become an amazon. This no doubt would be admirable, if not for how far Emma was willing to go. Emerald realized that Emma was trying to kill her, not just defeat her. This realization broke Emerald's heart.

 

This is the girl who, just a week ago, fought with everything she had to defend her family, her world, from Chronos. She had faced evil, with no fear. She even helped save Emerald from Chronos' grasp. This was the girl who was excited to go to space Disney land with her and the Doctor. And just moments ago, when the fight began, they had spoken like old friends.

 

She wondered what had happened in Emma's life to make her so heartless and cruel. Perhaps it was bitterness, or her hatred for monster had grown. But that didn't matter, Emma was out for blood. And if she would kill someone whom she had cared about so willingly, so quickly, how far would she go against anyone else who stood in her way?

 

In truth, Emerald didn't care about becoming an amazon. She simply wanted to test herself against strong opponents. But now, as she watched her knife fly toward Emma, Emerald realized what was at stake, and knew she could not let Emma win. But Emerald's strength was running low, she could hardly move. These feelings of despair, pain, anger, determination, and so many more swirled in her hear like a vortex. And from her feelings came a familar form, one that Emma had previously had a hand in saving her from.

Emerald's dark side had emerged. This was the manifestation of all the suffering and sadness and rage that Emerald had felt. A murderous, ruthless, form to match a cold blooded killer of an opponent. This dark form revitalized Emerald, and restored her strength. But that's not all, it increased her beyond that of any human both physically and mentally.

 

Emma let her bow go flying, and watched as Emerald threw the two Kunai Knifes. She wasn't going to stand still, nor ignore the fact Emerald used a similar trick like this before. Still, she couldn't see Emma, as no light made it to her. But she saw when the kunai knife disappeared. She didn't know if it had hit or not, but when she heard the sound of the bow string, she knew Emma wasn't beaten. "Ganga!" She called out, unlike before when she simply changed the arrow's direction to make it fly backward, this time it would be met with enough force to send it flying backward. A bonus, that Emerald didn't realize, was that if the explosion was caused by impact it would blow up at very close range to Emma. And even if it didn't, it would hit Emma's collar bone just like the previous arrow did. But either way Emerald added another spell, one she would never use in her normal state, "BRISNGR!" and she visualized Emma's head, and this would cause it to burst into flames,

Emma's head would catch fire, and she try's putting out the flames with her hand's to no avail. (Don't thinking straight being on fire and all.) Then her hands get burned, and she jumps to the ground attempting to put out the flames by stopping, dropping, and rolling. This doesn't work, her skins burning off, and her hair's almost all the way burnt off. "WHY EMERALD WHY!!!!!!!???????" She yells out in unbelievable pain. She grabs one of her knife's and cuts her own throat killing herself to stop the pain.

 

OOC: Just to be clear to the people who has read this Emma wasn't really trying to kill Emerald. Just very badly hurt her and if she did kill her... I didn't care because this fight is non-canon to Emerald and Emma's.
