Your favorite concert of all time!

Lets hear about your most memorable concert experience. A band you've been dying to see and it finally happened! Maybe even a concert you didn't think it was going to be that good but it ended up rocking your socks off. Hell give me your top 5 if you want. Here are mine.

1. Ozzfest 2006- Pittsburgh- It was on my 21st birthday! It rocked! Got so hammered drunk and saw some amazing bands. Avenged Sevenfold were amazing. They did a cover or Pantera's walk. Loved it. Disturbed was good. My favorite performance of that night was System of a Down. I love SOAD and they rocked the place. A member of their crew had his birthday that day and they had the audience sing Happy Birthday! Since it was my birthday I just pretended that the crowd was singing to me!

2. Jamboree in the Hills (multiple times)- It is called the Superbowl of country music. One of the greatest experiences anyone will ever have. Even if you don't like country music, the atmosphere is amazing.

3. Tom Petty- 2002 and 2004- Both shows were amazing. The 02 show was better though. He came out for an encore and sang Dylan's everybody must get stoned. So i did.

4. Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, and Lynyrd Skynyrd 2002- So much fun. Went with about 15 people and was just a blast.

5. Kind of a toss up. I'm going with Green Day and My Chemical Romance 2004- I'm not huge on Green Day but they're ok. MCR just dropped Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. That is in my top 20 of favorite albums of all time. Man they rocked the Igloo the night.

So let's hear some good concert stories!

I went to rock fest last year. Skipped school for a couple days. Saw some old bands and some recent ones. Got lost in the crowd. It... was... AWESOME!

Lollapalooza 2008. Saw The Raconteurs. Jerked off to it. Saw Radiohead from like 200m away from the stage. My back hurt and all I could smell was weed. Terrible time at Radiohead. A week later, I finally listened to some of their stuff.

I'm not much of a concert person myself, but most of my friends are, so I tend to tag along. The one I enjoyed most though was probably Bon Jovi in DC last year.

I'm not a huge Bon Jovi fan, but a girl I was dating once took me a concert at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and they put on an amazing show. I've gotta tip my hat there. Helped that the ex had a great body, and the audience was full of hot hot MILF.

Pete Doherty in the Barras.

System of a Down in the SECC

Primal Scream- Screamadelica in Spain

Rage Against the Machine at T in the Park

Damien Rice at the SECC

Lou Reed at Edinburgh Playhouse

The Horrors at the King Tuts

Plain White T's at the Barras. Only because me and my girlfriend at the time were wrecked when we arrived at the place, sat in the bar for most of the night, went up and seen the band for 2 minutes, booed at them and then left to get more booze. Excellent night.

Slipknot because it was my very first gig.

The Specials in New York.

I can't think of any other reason one might enjoy a Slipknot concert.

Haha I was 11 years old, it was exciting times for me, I had just discovered the wonders of booze and smokes. Having nine men in boilers suits and masks screaming about killing people and hating life topped it off for me.

I don't recall being very angsty at 11, so I was listening to a lot of Huey Lewis and the News at the time.

When Ludacris came to Erie, it was a fun show.

Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and Seether came to town and was f*cking awesome.

The Warped Tours are always good. I saw the Gym Class Heroes there before they got somewhat big.

I saw Gym Class Heroes at Cal U of Pa for free back in 06. There was 35 people there maybe. I talked to Travis, gave him my number and told him to party with us. He actually called but didn't come where I was. He went down to the bars instead.

You ever go to any concerts down at Post Gazette Pavillion?

My first was an Olivia Newton John concert. We tried to make the best of what we had, and we got in trouble for dancing because the old folks in the back couldn't see.

Coachella was pretty good months back. Black Keys, Cold War Kids, Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, New Pornographers, Cage The Elephant, Duran Duran, Neon Trees, Foster the People and a couple more I don't remember...that was an awesome weekend.
