All right then let's look at Kenpachi vs Kakashi with the assumption that Kakashi is able to damage Kenpachi as well as able to dodge the attacks of Kenpachi. Kakashi has a wide arrange of jutsu's his most powerful probably being his Chidori. Assuming that he can hit Kenpachi with chidori I think this will probably be the greatest threat to Kenpachi. However What puts Kakashi at a disadvantage, and what i think will be his downfall is that he has very low stamina. When it is compared to Kenpachi who can keep fighting despite having wounds that would prove fatal to anyone else then Kakashi just can't win against him.

You mentioned that the difference isn't so vast, yet this can still mean a great many of things. Kakashi could be closer to say Kaname TÅsen when Kenpachi fought him, or he could be closer to Ichigo with his Bankai. Could you clarify what you mean by the difference not being so vast.
