"Be careful, I'm not recognizing any of these people." She nods and continues forward towards a group of Slags. "We'll cover you. We get that and perhaps we can control this situation before it gets out of hand." Meanwhile, Guile and Charlie leap near another group of Slags and release their most devastating attacks. " !" " !" As the fight waged on outside, a sentry's communicator went off from within the Great Hall where Doom and Vader resided. Likewise, Dr. Doom turned and looked towards the window. "Seems we have stragglers." Vader barely glanced, "It matters not. Soon, all will be aligned and our next step shall be upon us." We must make haste. The portals are losing strength." "Indeed." Doom responded. The two made their way to the front exit. Outside while the group waged their battle, a massive portal opened at the front of the building. Soon thereafter, they witnessed two caped a small battalion making their way through the entrance. (OOC: Um guys...your enemies are leaving. Hope you guys know how to get out of MIddle Earth, unless...)

A young girl draped in all white rounded a corner as if floating on air. "I am here. Help me." She reached a hand towards the vampire. "Help me. Come closer." As she did, the room seemed to enclose around Jennifer Blood. "Come closer."

Deathstroke was escorted down a long hallway. Doorways lined the walls on both sides and various fighters exited in and out. Eventually, he was brought to a small room. The guards bowed and turned to leave. "You are free to explore your surroundings until lights out." Then they were gone.

"I think not. There is a constabulary force in route as we speak. They will take you both into Sentinel custody. From there you may tell your dubious account." Tengoku continued to pressure the duo downward and beckoned to Becki. "Search them." He said. Becki searched the mean fire-manipulator first. "He's clean." She said. "She then proceeded to search the Bat. "Holy Boy Scouts! This guy's loaded like a Wendy's baked potato." She takes his belt and disarms him of all this weapons and...the shard. "Ooh, look what we got here." Tengoku only briefly glances at its direction, "Go outside and wait for the extraction team. Give them these things immediately." Becki hastily left the room... "Aye aye captain!" As she did, the room began to turn cold. Behind Tengoku, shadows began to move strangely even though the room was nearly dark and everyone was stark still. Focused on the gravity effects, Tengoku did not acknowledge the change, "Now, we wait."

"Deathstroke the Terminator wins!" Shang Tsung stood in curious fascination of the Earthrealm warrior. Sitting at a nearby bench, Raiden's eyebrows perked at the mention of his name. Yet, he did not give it up so easily. Merely staring on curiously, he watched the proceedings quietly. "Impressive, Mr. Terminator." Shang Tsung spoke. "But you must earn the privilege to see Raiden..." Shang Tsung looked around the area. "and by the looks of it, you have earned attention of quite a few of our other contestants." Shang Tsung directed Slade's attention to the mass of fighters eyeing him viciously, including the assassin known as Scorpion. Slade ignored them and sat down calmly. 'I don't have time for these charades he said.' He thought, 'I must find a quicker way to find this Raiden.' Turning his attention away to the mass, Shang Tsung concluded the day's events and dismissed the group to their dwellings until tomorrow's fight. As they departed, two guards escorted Slade to his room. As they did, Slade noticed two fighters conversing while paying close attention to him. He noted their appearances for later reference: one was shirtless and wearing a red sash around his head, the other was wearing a large conical straw hat. Also, he noticed a sinister ninja wearing a dingy yellow garb following him. It would appear his win was getting him lots of attention.

Kevin and Pseudo, consider thePhenomenalOne to be in a gruesome fight with the battle droid and continue. If he is not back before you guys handle your creature, he's...well, it might not be good.

Sagat slowly inched his way towards the group ahead of him. In a Muy Thai stance, he inhaled slowly and smiled. Calendar Man likewise, took up a fighting position when suddenly... There was a crash from behind. "Drop a ceiling on us will you?" Chun Li bursts through a door that is shattered to pieces. Quickly Guile rushes through, "Sonic Boom!" He shouts. The energy blasts flies forward and grazes Calendar Man as he nimbly dodges. "No!" He shouts and the shard flies from his pocket and into a nearby trash can. "That's the thing he shot us with!" Chun Li shouts. "Let's get it." Charlie yells. Within seconds, there is a mad dash for the shard. Scenario: The shard is in a trash can. It is nearest to Calendar Man and Sagat. Sagat doesn't want it, but he does want revenge on Broker and Slag. Broker and Slag are next closest and Guile, Chun Li and Charlie are farthest, but they all have projectiles that they are firing at anybody who gets closest to the trashcan before they do. Who gets it first? You may RP your attempts to get it. Eventually, I will set up a poll. Your goal is to give us the most entertaining fight/ battle for the shard. Potter, you are in charge of yourself and Sagat. Deo, you can only RP Broker and Slag. Just assume that Guile, Chun Li and Charlie are running forward, but are far away and tossing projectiles. After that, whoever has it gets to keep it.

Tengoku was confused at the sudden assault and just as rapid surrender. He eyed both the interlopers suspiciously. With an outstretched arm, he summoned an unseen force that quickly found the man dressed as a bat and his young counterpart firmly stuck to the floor, "What manner of games are these? Where did you come from and why are you here? Speak quickly." Upon finishing his words, the pressure began to build on the two. Becki wheeled around on her toes and grabbed a nearby sword, "That's right! Hold them down. I'm going to cut this one's ba..." "Silence." I will hear them speak.

Continued from here Before a throng of followers, spectators and the challengers of the next Mortal Kombat tournament, Shang Tsung officiates the preceding. "In the coming days, each of you will fight. Some of you by your own volition, others here by chance..." With that, a portal opens and Slade steps through an ornately carved mirror. His presence is noted immediately. "It would seem we have a new addition to the tournament." Shang Tsung continues, "Welcome to Outworld human. Please take your place in the line-up." Slade stops abruptly and takes in the strange surroundings. "Tournament?" He says quietly. Meanwhile, Shang Tsung continues, "This year you participate in the most important Mortal Kombat in history. This tournament, the tenth after nine Outworld victories, will determine Earthrealm's fate. If you defeat all your opponents, you will face one final challenge...me." In the crowd, Johnny Cage whispers to Sonya Blade, "That old geezer's the final challenge? They might as well give me the belt right now. They do have belts right...?" Before he can finish, he jumps back startled as Shang Tsung is no longer at the podium above the crowd, but standing right before him, "Appearances can be deceiving." He says spitefully and floats casually back to the podium to continue addressing the crowd. "Our first combatant will be Mr. Johnny Cage." Johnny steps into a ring ahead of the crowd. "That's right, that's right. Which one of you chumps is first?" Shang Tsung looks to the stranger who interrupted the preceding. Deathstroke looks back keenly. "What is your name stranger? And what brings you here to our Outworld tournament?" I am known as Deathstroke the Terminator." Shang Tsung eyes him suspiciously, "You are most heavily armed, Mr. Terminator." He hangs the word terminator in the air for a long period of time. "Do you have plans on using those arms to disrupt our preceding? I assure you that would not go well. Deathstroke scans the territory and eyes the legions of Mortal Kombat warriors. "I am looking for someone." He pulls out the paper wrapped around his portion of the shard. The name on the paper reads: Raiden. He begins to mouth the name, but hesitates as he doesn't know what saying that name will entail. "Well then, Mr. Terminator... I can smell the stench of Earthrealm on you. This is the Mortal Kombat tournament. Here, the combatants fight for the preservation of their realms. I can also smell the stench of death upon you. You are a warrior and I don't believe your intentions. Perhaps you would like to join us in a little sport? If you are successful, perhaps I can be of assistance in helping you locate whoever it is you are looking for." "I don't have time for this. I am not a part of your games..." Shang Tsung ignores him as several soldiers quickly sling pikes at this neck. Shang Tsung continues undaunted, "Very well then, the next challenger... Deathstroke the Terminator." Cage steps up and points at Deathstroke, "It's ShowTime." Quickly, Deathstroke pulls his swords, disarms and shoots the soldiers; he then turns his gun on Johnny Cage. "You think I can't handle a gun?" Cage says mockingly. However, Deathstroke's attack is quickly stopped as a spark of fiery ember flies past his head. "Enough!" Shang Tsung yells. "So, you'd like to disrupt our preceding? Very well then, this will be a three-way battle. You will fight Sub-Zero of the Lin Kuei assassins and Johnny Cage." From where he is standing, Sub-Zero freezes himself and falls backwards. The frozen encasement shatters upon the floor. Deathstroke looks on confused as suddenly, a frozen statue appears beside him. Sub-Zero bursts from it poised to fight. Johnny Cage readies himself. Shang Tsung smiles "FIGHT!" OOC: xLEGACYx, you may RP the results of your battle here. An extremely decisive win, so have fun. You took no damage and beat them both with flair. Continue to RP until the characters you were fighting are defeated. Once you have put them down in your own words, I will continue the storyline. Have fun.

Akuma heard around town that Deathstroke was a badass. Akuma wants to find out. Deathstroke has two katanas and two handguns w/full clips. Akuma has all his crazy teleporting, fireballing, INSTANTHELLMURDERING attacks.

If you're fighting each other, you're not allowed to. If you're fighting database characters...sure. Have fun. The call shots thing is only so you don't piss each other off. Deo, never mind the RPing Zombiegirl and Ten thing, both the guys threw up the white flag in one post. I'll update soonish.

Continued from here Batman walks out of a shadowy corner and into a shadowy chamber. He immediately sets his eyes upon its occupants. Before him, an enormously large Asian man in a gi is being fiercely attacked by a young lady who appears to be undead; candles burn throughout the room. "A dojo." He pronounces to himself. "What?" Pyro yells, pushing past him and into the room. Abruptly, he ignites the candles with roaring flames and lights up the room. "Hey? Take us to Sage or I burn your freakin Chinese restaurant down." He yells. The fight stops immediately. ZombieGirl jumps back, startled by the sudden appearance of the intruders. Batman shakes his head and tries to step in... "Hey, what I tell you about getting in my way?" Pyro says and puts his hand on Batman's shoulder. Batman begins a stance meant to sling the pyromancer to the floor, but is stopped by a booming stomp. "How did you get in here? This is private, Sentinel property." Masuto Tengoku growls. "Becki-san, go hit the alarm." ZombieGirl rushes off, but is stopped as a bat-a-rang wisps past her head. "I'm sorry; I cannot allow you to do this. If you would all just liste..." He is interrupted by Pyro. "Once again, take us to Sage old man or I torch you." With a clap of his hands, Tengoku dissipates the candles. "You were saying boy?" Pyro smiles and ignites his mini-flamethrowers. "Let's rumble old man." (OOC: Nova Force Nova and Thanosisawesome...sorry guys. This fight ends with you being subdued somehow. I'll let the terms be up to you, but it wasn't a horrible loss. You did get hurt. Maybe you work it out, maybe you get locked up. I'll let you determine what you want. But you do get beat. So, go...)

Okay Potterpuppetpals, I'm going to work this out with you here. First, you don't get to set parameters. You can suggest parameters, but yeah... You basically put yourself in a rock and a hard place. First, you accepted the terms of the battle. Second, you don't have any power boost from the Shard. You have no idea how the shard works, I do. I'll just go ahead and tell you, there is no power boost. The little residual blast it did, I suppose that can happen, but no power boost. I have a storyline going here and what you propose just doesn't fit with the parameters of my shards. Try to stick with what I give you. Last, I reeeeally don't think Chun-Li would help you fight them. Why would she help you? She just accused you of being Shadoloo (or however you spell it), then you blasted her! Why would she help you? We can discuss other options here. When we work it out, I'll let you guys finish this little scene up. Seems we are at an impasse.
